Symbiote or Black Alien Goo?

Which wording is Spider-man 3 actually going with? On numerous occasions, I've spotted Riami referring to it as "Alien Goo" does anyone think it will be mentioned as "Symbiote" in the movie?

In the cartoon they called it a symbiote because of it's meaning which means something about living together/ being together/ combined something like that.

Because psuedo-sentient life outside of our planet is far less realistic than genetically engineered symbiotic goo...

Sometimes I wish the "little green men" pop culture boom of the 50s and onward hadn't occured. It's just turned the perfectly logical idea of extra-terrestrial life into a big cultural joke.

they found living orgranisims on mars..its a movie first of all, and an established story arch from the comics...there dumbing it down or totally dismissing it like the webshooters

alien life isn't a joke. i never saw it purely as only that.

i dont think any average person will even see it to call it anything. that being said, they have to call it something. jameson isnt going to see it, and he sure as hell wouldnt call it a symbiote. i think he will show his costume to connors at some point and he will tell peter its a symbiote. OR peter is smart enough on his own to figure it out.
