Taekwon V: A New Live Action Robot Film

Taekwon V is a new live action/cgi film, like transformers. It comes out June, 2009 and is Transformers 2's rival. It is a Korean Made film but no worries, the CGI is perfect. Take a look at the pic and vfx test video link below.

wow, da cg in dat vid was really good. i wonder if dis film will be as cool as transformers. i doubt it but it might be close to that cool.

yeah, i don't think this is going to be as big as transformers. it will definatly be a cool action flick though.

I wonder if we'll see a re-release of the original animated film here in the US & Canada?

Surprisingly there is a clip or two Youtube [primarily the same one], it'll at least give us a better idea of the live action film.

sweet, it would be really cool to see the scene with the missiles coming out of his hands in live action format. if the film stays true to the cartoon, then we should expect ALOT of action.

just watched the animated film and it rocks! if the live action movie is anything like the animated then this film is gonna be amazing.

Oh, and just another quick note, the official title is Robot Taekwon V.

Taekwon V from my understanding is the Korean version of those Japanese Super robot cartoons. Back in the day there was a ban on japanese shows so korea had to come up with their own robot to entertain the kids. This looks amazing and I'm really looking forward to it.

It looks okay..I guess. Kinda reminds me of Godzilla or Power Rangers.

I'd rather see a live action Voltron.

Wow, that looks great! I hope we'll get a North American release of the movie - I'd love to see the super robot on the big screen.

I have 2 new bits of information on the film:

1. The movie might be pushed back to the summer of 2010, instead of the proposed 2009.

2. A new title has emerged for the film Taekwon V: The Rebirth.

The movie still does not have an official totle. Stay tuned for more updates!

Looks decent enough CGI wise and still looks like a 2010 release.
