Ok before making this thread I carried out a search for this movie and was trully dissapointed that there wasnt a thread dedicated to this great great action/thriller film. I just saw this movie and it surpassed all expecations. Liam Neeson is awesome in this and the action is great, the general outline of the story is that some men kidnapp the daughter of what turns out to be an ex former Badass government agent. The rest of the film involves him tearing the country apart looking for his daughter and the way he lays it to the bad guys is the icing on the cake in this movie.


Oh if there is something wrong with the search and there is a thread on this already then by all means please feel free to delete this.

I just carried out a search for Taken after making this thread and nothing came up, sos I am assuming that there is already a thread for it and the search function isnt working properly.

I only read bad things about it and after checking the story, didn't get much interested in seeing it*.. I might see it though--the internet and its wonders, today.. oh yeah

The story isnt that great but it isnt bad either, its the action and pace of the movie that really makes it a great film. Dont go into it thinking this is something that will have your brain working, hell switch of inside for a while grab some popcorn and have some fun.
