Great choice! I wonder who she is playing. And what time frame is this set in?

So who do you think Tatiana Maslany is playing? Mara Jade? Aurra Sing? Ahsoka? A young princess Leia? or a completely new character?

Good for her if true. I am only slightly disappointed because of the potential news that Rooney Mara was up for the role, but Tatiana is fantastic. This reminds me though, I need to catch up on Orphan Black before the new season starts. And lets hope this doesn't effect a potential Season 4. :)

Very true. But if it turns out to be true, she will have definitely earned it. And I can definitely see her smacking fools in the galaxy far, far away. And I never say no to Eastern European eyes. :yay:

He loses it in the presence of pretty women, so he will be an easy opponent for you. :cwink:

And my Sundance, how are you not prepared for the most glorious day in history? :csad:

^It was originally supposed to be Andrew Garfield, too. I know I'd be bummed about that trade-off. Though to be fair, the movie looks like generic fluff for the Over-50 crowd ala The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, so no casting would have made it seem particularly great. At least her character doesn't have to interact with his, lol.

Meh, you're both wrong. The MOST glorious day will be the unnamed date in 2017 that Rian Johnson's Star Wars hits. EpVII is just the warm-up. :oldrazz:

I really don't trust that site who reported this.

And I don't blame you. The Nerdist picking it up gives it a bit more credit, but in no way confirms it.

Yes it's smart to be skeptical until the trades say that it is true.

A teeny tiny bit maybe, in the sense that I have more hope for the upcoming Star Wars franchise than the Justice League one (you know Superman/DC's my fave, but the Snyder/Goyer team kill it for me, tbh). But I truly am waaay more hyped for Episode VIII than VII.

And yeah, I'm extremely skeptical about this news at this point. It's slightly encouraging that The Mary Sue said they verified Total Geek's report via their own sources...but not much.

I'm excited for both. But I think Rian has more to prove. Yes he's a great film maker. But JJ has really proven to me that he can capture the adventure feel that SW and Indy had. ST09 has been the only film since those two trilogies where I felt that type of "feeling". I have no doubts Rian will succeed, but JJ has proven himself with it, and I don't think Rian would have jumped on board if he was not impressed with what Kasdan and JJ created.

Oh I knew you weren't going to agree with me, I just thought the first Star Wars of the new saga would be your most anticipated.:yay:
