Cool, but I'd like to see a more Ledgerized version. I love the suspenders too.

Well my whole thing for robin was I don't want him to be just another Batman Jr. I would have wanted something that Batman just doesn't do. Like wear bright colors as a form of distraction and kind of mocking the enemy. Robin would also have a reliance on the baton and use his motorcycle frequently in fights since he lacks the fighting experience.

Great improvement on your last drawing Clown, it has a nice sense of 'fun' to it which is always good for Robin. I'm feeling that vibe.

On the bright colours thing....I did a manip a while ago with the idea that Robins cape is made of light emmitting material. It's goes dark for stealthing, medium level for impressing the public and looking nice and non-threatening, and right up to flashbulb level for fighting crooks. There'd be a yellow shimmer in the shadow and then a foot comes flying to your face. Other times there'd just be blinding shape bouncing around the room willow the wisp style, or he could it as a decoy to distract from Batmans approach in the dark. I like it cause it gives the cape a unique function similair to memory cloth in BB and it's a good visual metaphor, playing on the whole light and dark thing with Batman.

Fantastic work Vicarious and Bubbagump Bubba I thought there was a spy shot of Ledger in a black shirt with light blue suspenders? I agree it's a great look. And your Batman is awesome.
