The Dark Knight TDK Ticket Sales Begin Friday, June 20

In followup to my previous post, evening IMAX screenings for TDK in Mississauga and at Scotiabank in Toronto are sold out for a good chunk of opening weekend.

Is there anyone from Las Vegas going to an IMAX showing? If so, I am curious if the actual tickets have assigned seating. The will call print out does not.

American theaters rarely ever bother with assigned seating.

That's what I thought, but I just wanted to be sure I wasn't stuck in the front row.

Scotiabank in Toronto just added a 3am (and a 12:15 regular).

I was just curious... it has been brought to my attention that IMAX films usually have a total run time of 150 mins. total on the film "platter". TDK apparently runs 152 mins. or so. SO, will there be anything cut from the movie to accomodate the IMAX run time? Or maybe they will speed up the credits or something? Any info would be much appreciated.

This movie is gonna be a monster at the BO, I have tickets for the 12:01 am showing, then on Sunday me and my fiance are traveling 3 hours to see it in IMAX.

I'm showing up around 7 or 8 to my line for the midnite imax...

Almost all of Friday's shows are sold out in IMAX and they just added a 125AM show. On a friday thats unheard of! Plus Saturday showings in IMAX are selling out quickly!

I'm so glad I got my tickets for the midnite imax and the next day at 10...a month in advance! A lot of my friends missed out and I keep saying "I told you so"...the common folk...they'll never learn.

I will be downtown around 1pm on Thursday because I have to help a friend out with an audition she has........That's done around 3pm........And I cant go home and come back because that burns a hole in my wallet
So I'm going to be at the teater around............

Wow! The imax theater I'm going to has sold out almost every show starting with thursday midnite into 3AM, the only one not sold out is the 6AM show...then...they announced a 1:25am show for friday and saturday...INSANE! I've never seen anything like this before.
