I fully agree. I liked the trailer, but didn't love it. I loved the footage itself, but the trailer was not put together as well as it could have been. I'd give it an 8. Apparently I'm a sheep for liking it at all. Tired of this kind of condescending crap on this website.

Considering the image we're viewing here is riddled with artifacts from going through multiple layers of compression, and that the original image probably contained shadow noise even before it was compressed, and that the figure is out of focus, the idea that you could sample a single point anywhere from the image and get an accurate idea of what color something was is ludicrous. I could probably sample every color in the rainbow from the shadow of Batman's cape.

The supposed "Bat Symbol" behind him is equally ridiculous. A simple case of matrixing. I think the author of that article is just wanting too badly to see things that aren't there.

Nobody is saying people can't think the trailer wasn't that great or whatever. Nobody is saying those people who weren't impressed with it can't ask why other people were. What people are bothered about is the fact that the question was posed in a deliberately condescending and rude manner. And really, I don't see why I should have to put up with being insulted because I happen to like Nolan a lot.

It should also be pointing out that other users - Raganork, for instance - have said they weren't impressed with the teaser and are not being yelled at. Why? Because they expressed their opinion like adults, not toddlers.

And for the record, if the teaser hadn't impressed me, I would've said so.

I have to say, Rag and some others where yelled at quite a bit yesterday, even though their reasoning was sound. The ignorance is coming from both sides, the people who like it and the people who don't. Some people just have the mentality that everyone needs to agree with them, or their opinion means nothing. Once that mentality is gone, I think we can have alot more civil discussions on here.

Why can't we all just be nice!

Twist it however you want, to me Batman's body language in that scene communicates one idea pretty clearly: he's afraid. I don't know why people are so hesitant to accept this. Who came up with the idea that heroes can't be afraid? Courage is not the absence of fear, but the mastery of it.
