Yes, that was HD. You can see the quality :(

I bet you it's Bane's laptop

Wow! Really? You guys can't tell thats the cam version!??

You can so tell that its the same clip. The letters are off centre, you can see the light fading out around the boarders of the frame (as If it was FILMED in a cinema!)

Come on guys!

About the guy with the laptop on youtube, qiality is definitely better. You get a much clearer view of the final scene anyway.

That doesn't prove it is Bruce. It could be Bane pretending to be Batman to get info out of Gordon.

But he has Bruce's voice and Bruce's build. Not to mention that conversation from the teaser loses a whole lot of meaning if it's not authentic...

Highly improbable.

Yes, you can see what I'm talking about with the overhead light behind Batman and you can sorta make out someone behind Batman as well.

Hard to say the title is a reference though. I suppose in that sense Batman forerver is tied to Batman and Batman Returns.
"The Dark Knight had several references, both literal and thematic, to Batman Begins. Thematically"
There might have been. No idea. I didn't see anything overtly carried over other then the rachel story line or bruce working in a bunker instead of his house.
No references to los, or the narrows, or escaped inmates. I'm guessing that was all cleaned up between films.

"It'll be nice when Wayne Manor's rebuilt...you can swap not sleeping in a penthouse, for not sleeping in a mansion".
- Alfred Pennyworth, reference to Ra's Al Ghul burning down Wayne Manor in Batman Begins

"You once told me, if the day came when I was finished, we'd be together...did you mean it?"
- Bruce Wayne, reference to Rachel's speech to Bruce at the end of Batman Begins

"With Carmine Falcone in Arkham, someone must have stepped up to run the so called 'family'...is that man in this court room today?"
- Harvey Dent, reference from Carmine Falcone

"The man, Salvatore Maroni is the head of the Falcone crime family".
- Harvey Dent, reference to the Carmine Falcone

"Not my diagnosis"
- Jonathan Crane, villain from Batman Begins

"That's wasn't exactly what I had in mind when I said I wanted to inspire people".
- Bruce Wayne, referencing conversation with Alfred on plane in Batman Begins

"I was meant to inspire good, not madness, not death."
- Bruce Wayne, referencing conversation with Alfred on plane in Batman Begins

"You aren't going to tell me you didn't recognize your baby pancaking cop cars on the evening news."
- Coleman Reese, referencing chase from Batman Begins

These are just off the top of my head, and are all references to Batman Begins in The Dark Knight. There are PLENTY in there...it's not a loose sequel like Batman Forever... It's a complete continuation of the story.

there were two versions, one has a higher res, they were both posted in here earlier, i know this because i downloaded both to my comp.

I just watched the clearer version...

Anybody notice the scene where the buildings are collapsing and we're moved closer to the bat-logo that the buildings are collapsing but also rebuilding themselves?

Woooow, not really impressed with the teaser. That didnt really get my all that pumped...

There's not a "high res" version but there is one with higher res, and it fills up my screen.

Facebook, dudes...Facebook. This is why you friend SHHers before the big day. :cwink:

And if not, at least Twitter. :oldrazz:

No! Do not be fooled! That is the EXACT same clip as the leaked version. You can even see on his media player maker that he starts it a few seconds into it, because real steel was right before!

I'll admit, the teaser trailer has grown on me ALOT since watching it five hours ago. I gotta say... I'm freakin' excited!

Sure, the recycled footage, cliche taglines, and the hospital scene weren't something I would praise, but Bane and the chanting made my spine tingle! Bring it on Nolan!

To the "Gordon could be talking to Bane" people/person

Same suit as the window ski mask pic now ****!

the teaser alone was better than all the teaser trailers this year

So much for the teaser, total waste of time. If that's all they had, why even release it?

:wall:

I haven't watched it yet because I'm waiting for the official HD release of it for a better first impression, but do you think it has more of a BB vibe or a TDK vibe?

Highly improbable.

Plus, Gordon is very smart. Batman even theorised that Gordon was so smart he must had deduced his secret identity.
There's no way Bane could fool Jim Gordon.

By the time we're almost all the way zoomed into the bat-logo the buildings are no longer collapsing and look normal.

I have to wonder what the complainers were expecting here. It's a teaser, and they haven't been shooting that long. FFS.
