i kinda want more Joker, just to let fans know hes still out there. We respect Heath by not showing him, but the character still lives in that universe

Good point. I would love to see this as well. Just a subtle reminder that he is still out there.

A brief mention or a cell in Arkham will do. Otherwise, people will start comparing.

If there is another Arkham Breakout I would like to see something that Joker is still around also.

Agreed. After the impact that he's had on Gotham, he HAS to be mentioned at some point.

If you didn't go how can you say you didn't care for most of it?

The campaign rallies were extremely fun, connecting with other fans, getting Swag and yelling at the top of our lungs in support of Dent, it really was amazing

That wasn't the only part of the Dent portion. I thought the smear campaign was kind of lame, reading up on Dent opponents put me to sleep(although i appreciate the detail put into it), and i was glad when things went back to focusing on The Joker and his games. Like i said, there were parts i liked, but for the most part i didn't care for that portion of the ARG.

You know though, being on SHH when things were being revealed, like the answer to the puzzle, or a clue someone received on a Joker phone, those were honestly the best parts of the ARG for me anyway. Dressing up like the Joker and taking pictures at a Dent rally is cool too, but nothing like a message board full of people reporting new information to the game, and then everyone trying to sit down and figure out what it all means. There was a buzz and an excitement every time something new was revealed that I can't say I've ever had playing any other sort of game. I enjoyed those parts of the game and can't wait for them to kick off again.

Am I the only one who thinks that the firerises YT channel is legit?

Yes I believe you are.

As I think I am the only one who believers there's something we've missed out there, perhaps more to those tweets.

The likelihood is we're both wrong and will be speculating until Comic-Con.

Found a website www.gothamrogues.com. It was registered by markmonitor on 2011-05-02. Could this be a viral site?

Thing is, the site was registered by Warner Bros. And though it could still be a viral site, usually (if 42E is involved) the sites are registered under Domains By Proxy. But good find nevertheless.

I doubt there's something missed at the moment. Right now it just feels like they've started teasing everyone.

I also said that thefirerises FB page has a lot of Spanish people counting, which is weird.

BUT it does say 'this isn't fake' on there which is linked to the YT page and that kills it for me.

Maybe we're not looking hard enough? ;-p

Here's your LINK to all those Batman registered web addresses.

Gotham City game-related for the latter one on there but maybe worth a second look if anything turns up.

It does nothing when I click on the link. Regardless, I don't think it has anything to do with TDKR. But, if WB does own it then maybe it has something to do with Arkham City or a new animated Bat-film coming out.

all that swag reporting for viral duty. So is this the place where I can confirm the legitimacy of The Dar Knight Rises viral campaign websites?

By the way, I participated in the TDK viral campaign. I did cause quite a stir by posting a viral campaign site that was fake. I was under the name "assassinsilence".

Yep, you've came to the right place. :word:

Gotta love that sites are starting to use the hype as a source.

Escalation.

Is there a way to contact IGN and let them know that it's fake?

I hope this ARG has a lot of mail swag along with local treasure hunts. I can easily see the treasure hunts being via a Catwomen viral who does fancy herself as a professional treasure hunter.

I walked away from the TDK viral with a lot of swag along with some great memories. I got all kinds of I Believe in Harvey Dent swag in the mail (Button pins, stickers, posters), I also received the Gotham Times 3 times in the mail with the last coming with extra prints. Not to mention a batman key chain fist and other items from CitizensforBatman.org. I purchased the joker poker set just for the joker cards and also got the Joker bank robbery mask to add to my collection. I display all of the Joker cards in a large frame on occasion. I cannot wait for this viral to get started! For those of you that are new to the 42E Batman viral....get ready for a once in a life time experience! Dont forget to go over to the 42entertainment website and register and keep those eyes peeled....literally haha :woot:

I get the feeling that something will drop at E3....perhaps a countdown site of some sort. Giving us a teaser a month and a half before Comic Con (and the predicted start of the viral) is just cruel.

:wow:

My favorite part of the TDK ARG leading into the first trailer, was that I enjoyed the trailer that much more when it came out. I had to have played it 200 times that day in full HD!

And then we got an amazing, great slew of parody trailers on youtube.

Hopefully(doubtful) we see the same sort of creative fans this time around.

Those YT links have gone to Ain't It Cool.

Still looks fake!
