    The latest Nvidia driver adds the option to use ambient occlusion on 20 odd games, while on some games it's not really noticible, it improves shadows abit on source powered games like Team Fortress 2, left4dead, portal and halflife.

    Oh, okay, I guess the shadows do look subtly more realistic.

    Couple of games like Dead Space ans Assasins Creed you wont really notice any diffrence even with comparison pictures, it seems to work really well with the source engine though due to it's limited lighting. Wish it would support Oblivion, Oblivion actually looks really good with mods installed, it supports Fallout 3 which uses the same engine.
