The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Trailer predictions

When do you think the teaser trailer will be shown?

What do you think it will consist of?

I think it will be attatched to Green Lantern or Harry Potter. Too early to see footage of the film, so it will probably be like TDK teaser with just voices.

I think there will be a throwback to all of the previous Bat-films, with quotes from all the movies. I'm not sure what will be going on in the trailer, maybe just a view of a stormy night sky. As it progresses, small flickers of lightning and thunder are heard to give the viewer feeling of excitement and mounting tension. "Are you ready to begin?" "There's nothing to fear, but fear itself!" "Why So Serious?" "Heads.. you get to keep your head.. tails.. not so lucky." "It's okay, listen, some.." explosion sound, followed by a Joker cackle. Long pause. "Bruce.. why do we fall?" then we see the bat symbol lighting up the sky, the Batman theme begins pumping as sirens are heard wailing.

I would be ecastatic if we got the same kind of teaser that TDK had. Just to hear a couple lines from the film, hearing Bane's voice.

I think that it's a little too early for it to be attached to Green Lantern/Harry Potter(Just a guess. I don't remember when they gave one for BB or TDK). But it could be Bane's voice talking about how he will ensure that he will break the Batman. And while that's happening a scene where Batman's getting chased through an alley by the Gotham Police.

I'd say a logo teaser with HP, a first footage trailer with Sherlock Holmes 2, and the final trailer with either Clash Of The Titans 2 or The Avengers.

You don't have this opportunity with Catwoman and Bane. I suppose Anne could purr... but that would be a poor follow-up.

Why is it too early? Both Batman Begins and Inception had teasers with footage. TDK is the only exception. 2 out of 3 tells me there will be footage with this teaser.

I hope its more like Batman Begins' teaser trailer and less like TDK's boring teaser.

Batman Begins has one of the best teasers ever made. It presents itself as a dark, pyscological thriller and dosn't clue the audience in until the end. Perfect way to generate interest and rebuild trust after the disasterous "Batman and Robin".

Instead of having the bat symbol being broken, we could have the pieces falling into place once again, forming the bat.

It'd be in context with the title.
