Summer 2015 will be an implosion. There are so many blockbuster tentpole big budget movies coming out that I would almost guarantee at least one studio will go bankrupt or verge on it.

Back to the Future wasn't a comedy though it had a lot of comedy elements. It's more a sci fi/action/comedy mix than true comedy.

I'm wracking my brain to think of a truly good comedy sequel and so far coming up with nothing so you're right on that.

I'm with Teelie; they were comedic but I wouldn't call them comedies, if that makes sense.

Back to the Future is a tentpole in my eyes; while Hot Tub Time Machine is a comedy.

The Hangover II I actually think is okay...but that wasnt until after I watched the 3rd one. But I wouldnt call it a good sequel

and I like Beverly Hills Cop II

EDIT: Im not sure how much these count but I like Jackass 3D and Jackass 2 better than the first Jackass

I was watching the first one and started laughing because a scene reminded me of the sequel and my roommates got mad at me.

Yep, you're right. I also really liked Next Friday, House Party 2, Rush Hour 2, Bad Boys 2, Clerks 2, Shrek 2, Meet the Fockers, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Scary Movie 2 and Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

So many great comedy sequels out there.

Amanda Seyfried is going to play the female lead in Ted 2

MacFarlane is still putting together the pieces for the Ted 2 sequel, but it looks like Mila Kunis will only appear in a tiny role, if at all, in the sequel. I’m told this has nothing to do with anything other than a creative decision that MacFarlane decided to take with the plotting of the sequel. He and Kunis remain close, I’m told, and she continues to provide the voice of Meg in MacFarlane’s Family Guy.

I liked Kunis so it's a shame the sequel seems to be dropping her character.

I've always liked Amanda so I'm happy about this. Amanda and Mila are both in my top 5 favorite actresses (#4 and #5 respectively) so I'd be good either way.t:

I guess Seth must have taken a shine to Amanda, that will be 2 Seth movies in a row for her now.

She's got to be a love interest for Ted. Although I do love Amanda Seyfried.

Dont see why Seyfried coming in means a reduced role for Kunis, both of them can be in the movie, and unless John is breaking up with Kunis's character, which I hope doesnt happen, it doesnt make sense again to reduce her role.
