This is from World's Finest Online:

According to Marv Wolfman, one of the screenplay writers for the direct-to-video Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated feature, the DC Universe Animated Movie is on hold.

Wolfman states the movie is currently on hold because, according to Warner Home Video, there may not be enough of an audience for a Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated feature to be successful. Teen Titans: The Judas Contract was originally scheduled to be the third DC Universe Animated Movie before Warner Home Video delayed it, opting to produce Batman: Gotham Knight and Wonder Woman direct-to-video animated features instead.

Wolfman continues, saying that fans should contact Warner Home Video to let them know of the demand for a Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated feature. Below is the contact information to send your thoughts and concerns regarding the future of the Teen Titans: The Judas Contract direct-to-video animated feature.

Wolfman worked on the original Teen Titans: The Judas Contract comic book storyline in addition to writing the screenplay, along with Tom DeSanto, of the animated adaptation.

Nah, I have a feeling that they're using the Judas Contract plot for the live action feature film.

hopefully enough fans can send emails.. or would a box full of peanuts work?

I want to see a regular Titans series based on the Perez era team.. include Aqualad and Speedy..

Okay, let me get this straight. The geniuses at Warner Bros. believe that Wonder Woman, who hasn't had a single big movie or televison series since the Linda Carter show (putting aside the JL cartoon, of course), would make more money than Teen Titans, which as had a recent (and somewhat sucessful, regardless of our feelings about it) animated series?!

WTF

This is a shame, because when DC announced this, along with Superman: Doomsday and Justice League: New Frontier, I anticipated this much more. Yeah, a huge reason is because of the series. While I enjoyed some episodes, as a whole, it was crap, especially when compared to JL/JLU.

Well..in fairness to Wonder Woman, it's not like they've really tried to give her a solo series or movie and had it fail. The Carter one was successful, as was Superfriends and JL and JLU, which she was in. And her movie seems to be going nowhere fast, so this might be a nice alternative.

Although, I dont like it at the cost of Judas Contract, which could have been amazing.

Aww man! I cannot wait too long! Way too long! :csad:

It's because the "anime craptastic style of Teen Titans" on Cartoon Network turned off a ton of Teen Titans fans and now they're not willing to risk 20 bucks on another possible Teen Titans screw up. The anime kids Teen Titans is to what Bat Nipples did to Batman.

Whaaaaat??? I loved Teen Titans The Animated Series. :woot:

This is sad but i think it will still be made some where in my gut i feel it. I will NOT be buying Wonder Woman, merely renting it, and i will be buying Batman: Gotham Knight for the preview to Wonder Woman to see if it will be even worth the rent.

I dont see why everyone is so dead set against Wonder Woman. Is she really that hated? She's one of the big three for gods sake. I'm very excited about it. It'll give us movies focusing on all 3 of them, with Superman: Doomsday, Batman: Gotham Knight, and Wonder Woman: Subtitle Sure To Be Added Later.

She just doesnt interest me, AT ALL. She is a good supporting character dont get me worng but i just dont like her. I mean something about her just irks me. I would much rather see Dick Grayson and Wally West joking around with Speedy and Aqualad. Wonder Woman is just so damn empowering to women, not that that is wrong but like it seems that they over do it so much so that it makes me feel uncomfortable. I love women don't get me wrong and they deserve every right and more in this country its just that Wonder Woman seems like a feminist with super powers and i have a feeling that this is where they are going with the movie. I heard that Paul Dini said that the storyboards look like a, and I quote, "Glorified Barbie ad" I respect Dini enough to trust his opinion on that. Then again I want them to prove me wrong so ill give it a chance, by renting it.

i definitely want some teen titan and robin/nightwing loving....

don't care about wonder woman at all to be honest...there are plenty of other dc characters i would rather watch a film about.

they should make an emerald twilight/dawn adaptation. 3 part movie, it'd be awesome...

I wonder if they felt like a titans dvd wont sell because of mainstream characters?

It was incredibly popular with its target demographic, which is all they care about.

I'm all for a WW film. Hell, it has Nathan Fillion, who is perhaps one of the greatest and most underrated actors today. I'm totally going to buy it. I just dont get why the WB feels that TT would be less sucessful than WW.

WARNER HOME VIDEO ON JUDAS CONTRACT

One quick news bit that couldn’t wait - one of our best sources at Warner Bros. Home Video has been reading. They wanted you all to know the following about the planned Direct-to-DVD release of Teen Titans: Judas Contract.

“Teen Titans: Judas Contract is one of a number of stories in development within the DC Universe Animated Original Movie series,” said our source. “We'll be announcing future plans as titles begin production over the next few years.”

So kids, be patient. You dream shot of Terra in a nightie might still happen.

According to Newsarma. The film is still happening so it maybe just delayed.

Dammit, WB! When they released that initial slate of animated films, I was more excited for Judas Contract than anything else and I wasn't a fan of the TT cartoon at all. The wheels need to keep turning on this thing.

For the record, I'm going to be all over that Wonder Woman DTV like it was Diana herself. :o
