Bandai Namco announced a new 3D CG movie called Tekken: Blood Vengeance, the movie will launch in Japan this summer, feature script from Dai Satou (Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell) and animation from Digital Frontier (Resident Evil Degeneration).

Should have did this from jump.

Looks better than the live action movie already.

Exactly this, it seems like the only way that these video game to movie translates well. Resident Evil Degeneration was AWESOME so very much looking forward to this

I'm looking for seeing Tekken: Blood Vengeance because I love the animation in Resident Evil Degeneration

Damn, it looks awesome.
I'll be looking forward to it
When is the release date?

A live-action Tekken, as well as Street Fighter and any other game could actually be done, you just need to find the proper people and stop being cheap as hell.

Wait, they never dubbed the Japanese-speaking characters in the games.

Kyle Herbert as Kazuya already wins.

A new Trailer was out for a while. Was too lazy to post it though. But here it is.

Already looks better than the other movie.

It certainly looks better than the live action movie but the Tekken storyline is sorta questionable since Tekken 5 (the mishimas are team rocket). The director is the same person who directed the Tekken 5 and 6 intros which were bad imo. I certainly prefer the less flashy intros of Tekken 2,3 and tag.

i really hope they dont do something sneaky like they did with Tekken:USA
and make 2 versions for sale (only difference is a longer smex scene and ringfight).

below is the official Reaction from the Fans and Game creators.

RE: Degeneration had horrible animation. Everything was fake, plastic looking, and this looks about the same.

It's CGI animation and its in 3D. It will look good atleast on a 3D screen.

It all still looks like a video game to me. I can't get into it either.

I'm picking up Tekken Hybrid specifically for this. But with TEKKEN Tag Tournament HD and
TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 Prologue, how can I pass it up.

Well it is better than the live action movie, because it is more "Tekken" than that was. The story leading up to the final Battle was OK, nothing great, but the fight scenes were excellent, especially the last fight between Heihachi, Kazuya and Jin. The english dub is very noticeable but I got over it. All up, I did like it. Wouldn't mind if they made more focusing on different characters.

The story being told from the perspective of Xiayou and Alisa was a terrible idea. They should've gone with Jin in the spotlight.

these live action movies could be good with talent involved

not saying get a 160 million budget

but a 85 million budget would'nt be asking too much

and they get the lowest of actors ,writers, directors

not saying get nolan or aronfsky as directors but damn
