What can you tell me (your opinions) about Batman: Face the Face...


Is it good compared to OTHER modern day (2006 ONWARD) batmAN fair?

Calm down there, boyo and don't shoot!!!

From what i recall... it was an enjoyable mystery story with lots of tension and drama. The charcters were well rendered and it was nice to see bats working properly with Gordon and Bullock again. Plus after War Games, it was nice to have a simple, focused story.

However... they haven't done much with that anti-climatic 'ending' or 'cliffhanger'


Overall, a nice batman book... but nothing too spectacular or worthy of gushing praise.

I really liked it, it has good, clear artwork, a good detective story and doesn't flit around several story's at once.

a B- in my book, it was good, but could have been better, and the plot twist is overdone.

bleh art, horrible characterization of harvey dent, and a waste of a cool opportunity to let harvey be harvey for a while

It attempted to answer one thread from the derisive Hush story arc, where Two-Face's condition was surgically healed. Face the Face isn't remarkable in tone or content and that stems from attempting to harvest any ideas from an empty book like Hush. Two-Face's transformation,one of the many illogical gimmicks, only provided a red herring in that story. Not recommended.

having harvey healed could have made for some awesome awesome stories, now we are stuck with more underdeveloped twoface stories. yeehaw

it pissed me off that they turned Harvey back into Two Face, seeing as they didnt do a single god damn story with him as Harvey since he got cured in Hush...

Why is that nearly all Two-Face stories now revolve around him being cured, but getting scarred again?

They should just stick with one of them for a while, Harvey Dent back among the good people? That can only mean good storylines.
