I'll be in California (Anaheim to be exact) for a week at the beginning of September. I have a few things mapped out: baseball game, Disneyland, all the other tourist spots and such, but those take up about 3 days of the 7 I'll be in town. I'm thinking about staking out at LAX in hopes of running into Megan Fox, or at least Paula Abdul. Maybe visit Compton. I hear it's nice. Other than that, not much else on the itinerary. If you've been to/live/are familiar with the area shoot me some ideas.

West Side. :o

Southern California? Tsk. That's too bad.

Are you going to visit mdizzle?

South, Northern, Western. S'all new to me.
San Francisco is a lot friendlier than Los Angeles, and we have less people made of plastic up here. The downside is that we have a much larger hippie population.

Go to one of those desert towns where people disappear.

I haven't talked to her in damn near a month, if not longer. I think we're pretty much broken up at this point. :(

She's in Canada anyway, though I can see how one could confuse Canada with California.

I wouldn't mind visiting San Fran. I've always wanted to, you know, since Full House was set there and all...

I have a connecting flight in Atlanta. Keep up that kinda talk and I won't be leaving without a dufflebag containing your head, boy. :cmad:

California is the new Canadia.

This is very true. Then again, I've lived in California my whole life so far and have been all over and I truly believe we have the larger, arrogant/self centered all around ******* population regardless of what part of CA you're in.

You might have to save San Francisco for your next trip to California. The drive from the LA area is a good 6 hours (give or take).

I know it. We had looked into it when first booking the trip. San Diego is still a possibility though.

Damn right "oh crap" Whatchoself.

Anyway, I managed to score tickets to all 4 days of the D23 Expo that's going on 9/10-13, free. Don't know exactly what it is or what's going on, but I may check it out one of those days.

Are you a horror fan? Go visit the old Myer's house in Pasadena that was used in Halloween.

Universal Studios is kind of cool, but you can experience everything there in about half a day.

Maybe just hang around Hollywood? There's lot of cool and weird **** to see there.

Go to LA and check out Little Tokyo if you're in to Japanese stuff or just walk around it, kind of a fun place to visit and you can find some more weird **** to buy and bring back.

:cmad: go. to. the. damn. beach! Cali beaches are different from other beaches. you be in the Pacific Ocean, 2hours behind, and risk earthquakes.

Pink's Hot Dogs, In&Out Burger, San Fran, Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, etc.

As for a beach: if you want to walk around, go to Venice Beach. You'll see a lot of cool ****.

It also depends on what kind of things YOU are interested in.

Anaheim Stadium is nicer than Dodgers stadium.. but Dodger Stadium has a more traditional feel...

go to downtown disney.. and of course disneyland...

if you want you can go to hollywood blvd or sunset for shopping and hanging out..

LA LIVE doesnt have ALOT to do yet.. but you can still check it out.. its across the street from staples center in DOWNTOWN..

CityWalk is like downtown disney but by universal studios

Venice beach so you can see all the crazies...

any thing else just ask

ahh yes, actually go to universal studios to experience the studio tour!

I'm sorry, but does anyone else think of E-40's "Tell Me When to Go" when they see this thread title?
