Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy

I was actually just thinking about how we don't get a whole lot from Telltale nowadays. I was thinking, Man, they sure need more projects to handle.

Very interesting and much potential!

Aunt May: Peter, I've made wheat cakes...
Peter: 1) Oh, Aunt May, you're the best!
2)Oh...great.
3) (Rip her head off)
4) Ignore

Nice!!! I love their stuff. I have some Sam and Max games, Fables, TWD, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Monkey Island, Poker Night 2 and Puzzle Agent. They make incredible games. Can't wait to see what they do with Marvel.

What games would you like it to be about?

I'd like Spidey. Juggling life being a hero and a average guy...Watch how his choices affect his daily life with MJ and his job at the Bugle! :wow:

Well your all taking all better the most of peep at the IGN comments area in that link.

Which is awesome

It's telltale game so I welcome it.

How can you complain about this? It's going to be awesome.
Dave Fennoy for Nick Fury! :p

A lot of people are upset, because a lot of people haven't realized, or are in denial, at this point that we're not getting Arkham-styled AAA Marvel games, and with each announcement of a new Marvel game that isn't that, they get disappointed all over again.

lol I think it's more ultimate alliance then Arkham styled that's way more requested they just want any of the games we previously had punisher the wolverine game the works just as lo as it's action there grittiness to it excluding utimate allanence & XMen legends.

I'd kind of prefer the Walking Dead/Game of Thrones/Borderlands style games to Arkham ones, if we got a vote.

(I recognize myself and a small minority would be wildly outvoted though)

Tough **** for all the complainers.

If they can't respect and feel privileged enough to have Telltale working on a game with their favourite characters, then they're going to miss out on something unique as hell.
Hand me Arkham Knight and hand me any Telltale game, and I know which I'd pick, and why? Because of that solid writing.

Yes, it's point and click, but the action is moving up in these games. It works best within the context of what the story is. The Wolf Among Us has had the best so far, because of its comicbooky style.
Marvel - with any character in the roster? It's going to be epic.

The point was more the AAA part.

yet it still applys that's what most wanted back more the anything which isn't likely to ever be used those games names will have differentiate them selves game play wise .

yeah I did say up there punisher & the wolverine game too which apply to triple A in peoples minds also up there while took that quote up there too

so it still applies. they want all the old faves back. same name a all but the license's won't allow for it . people aren't registering that part

I'm a big fan of the point and click choose your own advetnure games since I grew up playing Lucasarts games like Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion. This is really nothing but good news to me. :D

I forgot Wolf Among Us! I never read Fable or played Borderlands, but I snapped those games up from Telltale after playing both seasons of Walking Dead. I'll grab a season pass if they make anything these days, they're so much fun. A series with Marvel characters? Heck yeah!

Hm, well I've never been interested in any Telltale game, but with Marvel at the side, I suppose I'll remain open to the idea.

An arkham level of aaa game or something by Tellgames is either way awesome!

Has all the recent Telltale stuff been up to the same standard? I mean I've bought them all but won't get round to playing then for a good while.

Not a huge fan of Telltale's episodic release stuff, but I'll reserve judgement until I see or read more info.

*shoot web*
*throw a rock*
*Do nothing*

While I'm a fan of Telltale's work, I'm kinda skeptical about a Marvel game made by then, especially Spider-Man, awkward.

Spider-Man deserves an AAA game IMO, it's by far the Marvel hero with most potential for a great game.

I think any Marvel character will work in a Telltale game.

I think so too! Could even be someone like Jessica Jones or one of the less action-oriented characters.
