I can't believe the silliness that exists in today's Internet age. Just...wow.

Yeah, I have a feeling whatever slight, slight interest Cameron expressed in "going back and completely re-inventing the franchise" will be gone by the time this one comes out, yet alone two more.

I don't expect Cameron to make another film but that's not the point (although the prospect of him reinventing the franchise is one hell of an exciting tease).

Even if Genisys fails (like Terminator 3 or Salvation), it won't stop another set of producers from coming along, buying the rights and once again trying to milk the franchise. It's an obnoxious, endless cycle.

The good news is that in a few years, the current copyright will terminate and full rights will go back to Cameron. After that, no one will be ever be able to touch Terminator again and he can permanently retire the franchise.

Also, it's foolish to claim what he would or wouldn't do if he did make another film. Nobody knows. With his clout and power he could do whatever he wanted.

I just don't get the Jai Courtney hate. I mean, yeah, he's been in some crap movies lately, but I thought he was a standout in Spartacus (full of that "heart" y'all are suggesting Kyle Reese needs that he lacks), and was very effective in a completely different role in Jack Reacher. Seems like he has some decent roles coming up with Felony, Unbroken and The Water Diviner, too.

I mean, saying the completely monotone Sam Worthington would be better even though he couldn't even do an American accent to save his life? Really?

That said, everyone looks terrible in these photos. These are really terrible photos, lol. This movie's really not looking promising at all. Not that I'm surprised.
