I liked Jai Courtney in A Good Day to Die Hard. Although the movie itself was crap. I wanted him to be Aquaman actually.

He was terrible in that movie. Thank God he's not a superhero.

Nobody is reviewing the film before they see it Jones. If it turns out to be the first good Terminator movie since 1991's T2 then that will be acknowledged but right now I don't care for 80% of what I've heard or seen. Obviously I hope it's another Rise of the Planet of the Apes situation.

The EW cover reveal is what it is. Their covers usually tend to suck. But dat plot reveal tho....

That film didn't reek of badass as you read the plot. This isn't just about the photos. It is the casting, the ideas and story. Does it sound like Green Lantern? No. But it doesn't sound good either.

Jai Courtney could be the world's greatest actor but he is ****ing wrong for this particular role.

They're basically doing with Terminator now with they did with Predator, milling the hell out of the franchise when it doesn't really need any more stories told. It was done, contained, finished.

The beauty of both the first Terminator and first Predator films was they they were a little chilling. There was something creepy about the whole predator/prey angle and the atmosphere in both films; this ominous sense of hopelessness that no matter what they did, this creature stalking them was totally unstoppable and there was no escape. The stuff of nightmares. Subsequent sequels lost that, thanks to ratings and the premise of the films shifting (the Terminator films became more about the mission to destroy Cyberdyne and Skynet, the Predator films threw in a few Aliens to mix it up) and none of them were as memorable as the first.

Oh to to go back to 1984 ........

The only one who looks ok so far is Jason Clarke. Smith is just goofy looking and I'm afraid Clarke is going to come off like a little girl playing dress up.

Courtney just looks stupid in every picture. Like a bad actor trying ineptly to look bad ass by squinting really hard.

He looks like he's doing a Kyle Reese cosplay.

I'm still gonna see this for the two Clarke's and Byung-hun Lee, but I don't have much faith at all.

Funny thing is, I've only seen Courtney in Jack Reacher and I thought he played a pretty good badass in that. But yeah, every picture of him here, he just looks like he's trying too hard. Maybe it will be better in the film, I don't know. But right now, he just looks like a doofus.
