Why wouldn't it? It's an actual full game but just not a major AAA title

That looks surprisingly solid for a game that comes fully out of nowhere.
In terms of terminator, the after judgment day setting works a lot better than the one that comes before it.
I get the movies mostly are about preventing it and all...but you can still do alternative versions etc in that universe that works with the idea that it happened and all.

I'm kind of surprised that they didn't make a Terminator 1st person shooter like this before.

Interesting that they say they are only licensing 1 and 2.

The story probably takes place during the original future in T1 and T2. There's tracking shot of someone that could be John Connor from T2's future

Maybe I'm just not seeing what you guys are seeing. I didn't see anything extrordinary and the voice acting already seems bad. It's also from the guys who did that awful on rails Rambo game and it was just announced to arrive in December. Not inspiring.

This was announced way back in 2013 as Terminators: The Video Game. They’ve been dead silent until now.

It doesn't have to be anything original or special. A decent game is good enough.

Yeah the developers did the Rambo game but it doesn't mean it will be the exact same effort or quality. Make it better than Rambo: The Videogame but sell it cheaper than $60 with it going on sale soon or added to ps plus/xbox gamepads and it'll be all fine if it's just a fun little play through.

I imagine it'll have online mp and so just make it balanced as possible with frequent updates and just a fun time

Critics have been harsh but in a lot of forums and comments posted on YouTube and social media, players have been generally positive

Gameplay looks like a standard fun shooter. If this game came out in the late 90s/early 2000s it would have probably fared better with critics

Anyway, I’ll get around to play it once the price drops

The impression I get is it's ok, but nothing special. If it drops to a price I'm willing to pay then I may try it.

Picked this up recently. Plays like a poor man's Wolfenstein The New Order mixed with Fallout and I mean that in the best possible way given the current abysmal state those franchises are in. Recommended if you're a huge fan of the IP.
