This is a place to discuss Terminator: Salvation is all it's glory/not-goodness.

Since the original thread has been locked down, here it is. The place to discuss the movie, your gripes, your applause, and your general opinions about this movie.

Just like Arnie said.... "I'll be back!"

So, how many of you are picking it up on DVD?

Why was the other locked?

Edit,
This thread has gotten too big and will be closed. You are welcome to start a new thread on this same subject
.

Anyway..

When's the dvd release?

Can we please just let this POS movie go away?

I can't believe the previous thread had so many posts it had to be locked. So much interest in a Terminator movie and the flick was such a disappointment. What a shame.

Not much to talk about. There won't be another Terminator film for years. And what ultimately gets made won't be a sequel and/or continuation of Salvation.

this should just be renamed the terminator thread. talk about all things terminator!

I thought it was ok actually. 80s Arnold cameo was great and if not judged by the original movies, it was a fun C popcorn flick. One HUGE kudos from me for McG to actually watch the original movies, unlike Mostow. And thank god for the correction of the embarassing "T-101". I still cringe at that. SUre, TS is very PG13 and seems more like a desert storm war movie than a futuristic dark mayhem of the terminator future, and sure, it has almost as many plotholes as T3, but if you turn off the 'analyzing' switch in your brain and just watch it like a movie and not a a patient, its cool

I'll buy the Blu Ray, no doubt. Screw the Haters, it was not worse than Terminator 3.

Where's the DVD news for this? Release date?

The best case for Terminator:Salvation right now is a directors cut on DVD and Blu-Ray. That could (potentially) help the movie a great deal

i hope they dont close down the AVATAR thread before the movie comes out

I think the film could'v been much better if it had been about Marcus and Kyle Reese wandering in the post-apocalyptic wastelands trying to find John Connor, and in the end they do, nice cameo by Christian Bale, end credits. Of course this would'v been rated R.

I'll be getting this on Blu-ray, didnt think it was that bad, yeah it had plot-holes but both this and T3 both get a harsh deal when compared to the first 2 when they were never going to be as good as them.

I don't think we'll see a sequel unless two things happen.....Arnold comes back in a bigger role....or cameron comes back in some way...even as a producer.

Great visuals

****** script = ****** movie
