You know who should direct? No one. **** this ****** franchise...and I mean the future war franchise...

I think the future war for McG is John Connor screaming at little kids.

Uh what? Kyle going back isn't an accident and he goes from 2029. T-X doesn't show up until 2032.
TDD?

Loken and Patrick as humans is a terrible idea IMO.

Yeah, not to mention Kyle went through time before any of the good Terminators did, so that would **** that up, Kyle going through time would for me, ideally, be the end of the 6th movie.

It's a pitch I wrote on the spot here so yeah it's flawed. It'll need some work, but I can build off of it.

Connor is only after the schematics (the manual book if you will) of the machine, not the machine itself. The machine is being made somewhere else. However, Connor's goal isn't to make the machine, but to understand it's mechanics. How it works. He has to know because two years from now he'll have to know how to send Kyle back.

That's why you have all these soldiers in Tech-Com going, "Whaah!" It doesn't make sense to them. It's the equivalent to a General in Iraq telling his men that orders are not given to destroy poppy fields in Afghanistan when everybody knows Al Qaeda are funding terrorism with it.

Connor is leading his men in not only current delimas but future ones. Connor is making the right decision but in reality nobody sees it that way.

Hhhmmm, still not right for me, Kyle didnt mention them knowing about the time displacement equipment or them hunting for it before encountering it which I think he would have.

Why would he mention it? He didn't exactly insinuate this is the first time they've encountered one either. And like I said in the pitch, they were never hunting for it. Only the schematics.

Hmm, JJ Abrams? Ridley Scott? Both would be good.

The kid was just standing there. Did you want Connor to walk up and sofly speak for her to get to safety?

Why Scott? Because Cameron directed a sequel to Alien?...seriously people, love Scott all you want but stop pretending that he is right for every movie/franchise.

As for Abrams; I commend him for taking a s**tty script and, with the help of a great cast, making a good movie. He clearly knows how to do fun Sci Fi with heart and a little brains but is he really right for the Terminator series? I don't really think so.

He told them everything else, why not that, and he told them thats were they FOUND the time displacement unit so I thought it quite clearly insinuated that that is the first time they saw it.

They made Summer Glau as Allison Young work.

It still would be the first time they saw it. That doesn't conflict with the pitch.

Both Children of Men and HP are based on books. Why should he start doing orginal stuff now?
