Saved me about $20 actually.

Maybe they'll release a super loaded extreme ultimate Terminator SAlvation with 60 minutes of footage early next year. Meh.

Not to defend McG or anything, but maybe there is 30 minutes of cut scenes... I think is the studio wants to save it for a BluRay "ultimate long cut edition" down the line like mention by some of you guys here.

Since TS did not make as much as it should have in the BO, maybe that's the reason the studio wants to double dip editions of TS.

Squeeze every single drop outta it.

Honestly guys. They might add another 30 minutes, but seriously, who the **** cares?

It was a lame, disappointing movie.

I think it's safe to say we will get the 30$ 180 minute fanboy cut in due course. Swarzaneggar probably filmed a scene somewhere in there. Maybe they will even CGI and older Furlong's face on Bale's face and de-age Michael Bien for the young Reese scenes. Cameron probably did some of the editing himself.

yea i thought it was good but not what i expected
im kinda pissed off about this bluray release, im second guessing about getting it

I loved that loooong scene with Bale at the beginning...............and that's that. Oh, I liked Rooster -- of course.

I liked it, why else would I even bother discussing it in September? ........

It is probably both of those things but I was holding out hope that a longer cut would make it less of those things because the movie I saw seemed really choppy.

Definately, especially the last 3rd of the movie, that seemed really chopped up.

By the time someone gets around to making a sequel I'll probably have lost interest in the franchise.

Fox will get it, and the franchise will get even worse.

WB is the only studio that does things right
so i hope for WB

I dont think it really depends on the studio. WB messed up too. They did T Salvation. Nuff said

One thing I gotta give them for sure is nice covers for the DVD releases

I'm a little confused as to how they think Terminator is now worth substantially more than they payed for it. Unfair or not, Salvation really didn't reinvigorate this franchise.

seriously...do we have 100% proof that the directors cut will ONLY be on blu-ray? i think its bull that id have to buy that, even if it is only 3 minutes, if its a good 3 minutes i might end up liking the movie more than i already did. that aside, i feel that forcing people to have to buy a more expensive format that requires a different player than what you play the 100s of other movies you already have on is one of THE worst decisions you could make when you're trying to get money

There's no way in hell that it's worth $60 million. I love Terminator and all, but let's be realistic.

WB didn't produce Terminator Salvation. They distributed it in America.

They obviously liked what they saw in both T3 and TS.

In a perfect world, Cameron would buy the rights but this is not a perfect world. I wonder if Bale would be interested.
