People always complain that they eat too much during the holidays, but what about the Super Bowl? How much junk food did you guys eat yesterday? And how long were you in the bathroom afterwards? :o

The Super Bowl should be made a National Holiday.

And be moved to Saturday.

Didn't really eat junk food. I barbecued some chicken and whipped up some fresh pesto for my girlfriend, roommates, and friends. We had some chips and organic salsa and guacamole on standby, but didn't need it.

People gain more weight over Thanksgiving and especially Christmas because everything is festive and people usually make more candy and crap during the Holidays daily/weekly instead of just one day. Plus, people say oh well I will just start being good come New Years:o

Organic foods make me laugh:o

Thanksgiving and Christmas is basically a month long party, not just one day.

How is it a month long party? The actual celebrations are only two days. The rest of the time you're running around the mall and supermarkets fighting people. :o

For Christmas...my grandmothers always have nice baked goodies laying around everywhere for the entire Christmas and Thanksgiving week. Plus...you are eating leftovers for like 3 days. Also, many people have mutliple Thanksgivings and Christmaseseseessssss. You don't celebrate the Superbowl 4 different times:o

Honestly, I didn't eat much of anything yesterday. I'm watching what I eat.

I ate left overs, I didn't watch the game. The only junk food I had was a bag of peanut M&M's I had at work and a hand full of Mike and Ike after dinner.

I think the expression is stupid, but I like the principle of avoiding things which have been treated with lots of chemicals. I really notice the difference when I get meat from local farmers. The turkey I had last Thanksgiving was to die for.

Fresh =/= organic:cwink:

I ate a bunch of White Castle burgers and my ass went all Hiroshima on me not long after that.

I totally support that. No need to move it to Saturday though. Leave it on Sunday because when a National Holiday falls on a Sunday, doesn't Monday automatically become a day off as well? I had to miss it coz I had to work (the game was on Monday morning where I'm at). Bummer.

The Super Bowl being a holiday would be superb, I hated me and my friends having to call it a night early because of work/school.

I ate maybe eight slices of pizza during the game. It was decent.
