Thanos comics reading order

Hey guys,

I've had the comic book "The Infinity Gauntlet" for a while now but I've been waiting for Thanos' story to finish up in the MCU before I read it so that I wouldn't get spoilers for the MCU. I was about to start reading it when I realized this may not be the book the start with for Thanos.

I checked out this page Complete Thanos Reading Order Guide | Infinity Saga Chronology
but it seemed a bit overwhelming. Does that look pretty accurate on which books to read in sequence? Or would the book I already have be a good starting point? If not, do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

I think you should read Avengers Vs. Thanos first. These are his first appearances in the 1970s. He dies in 1977 and then comes back to life in 1990 in Silver Surfer #34. Then read the Rebirth of Thanos and Thanos Quest. Infinity Gauntlet then happens in 1991.
