Bought Season 1, watched it, loved it.

Discuss what you liked about the series and stuff.

(Sorry if a thread has been made on this before.)

Great choice, season 1 was the best for me ^^

The early seasons are the best. Laura Prepon was so hot when it began, but turned into an ugly blonde.

It's too bad it ran 8 years. They really sucked at the end.

Anyhow, the circle scenes were usually hilarious, as were the dream sequences (like the one where Donna gets bombarded by panties).

The show started to go down hill after the gang graduated high school. Using crappy plot devices to keep everyone in town and not move away for college.

Agreed. They should have just stopped after season 6. It would have been better for all of us.

I hated the replacement for eric and kelso, HE alone killed it for me.

I heard Eric left. (Spider-Man 3 was the real reason)

What happened to Kelso?

I was never a big fan of the show when I would first see it...maybe it had something to do with the episodes I'd seen.

But my girlfriend loves the show, and I see it all the time now...and I've really kind of grown to enjoy it. Fez is kind of funny, but overused. Eric is the best character on the show.

Spider-Man 3 wasn't the reason he left. There is a True Hollywood Story on the show and I watched it a couple weeks ago. He left the show because he felt there was nothing left for his character to do, and he was actually right.

This is one of my favorite sitcoms. I've got the first three seasons on DVD, debating on whether or not to get the fourth one.

But this is definitely a show that a lot of people can connect with. It reminds me of me and my friends so much, it's scary. We even have "circles" if you catch my drift. :)

The last episode of the show was pretty good. I liked how it ended, a nice send off for a great show, there isn't going to be another one like it ever again.

That 80's Show?:D

The first one I saw was the Christmas one where Eric and his friends cut a tree of the side of the road so they could use the money Red gave them to buy beer instead of a tree lol. I thought it was funny. The final episode with all the flashbacks made me buy Season 1 because the clips were funny.

I didn't bother to watch most of the episodes after Eric hadn't showed up to his wedding.. it just seemed to get worse from there. But I did watch the series finale, it was pretty good. :)

They actually did try doing a That 80's Show and it bombed in the worst way.
It bombed because they obviously weren't putting any real effort into it, and then tried to cram five years worth of character development into the span of a few weeks. They should have waited until they had finished with the 70s before moving on to the 80s.

It probably also had more to do with the fact that it wasn't the same characters from the 70's show.

I remember seeing it advertised all over the place. They were just trying to cash in extra on the uber success of That 70's Show.

And it didn't have anything to do with the 70's or 80's, but had more to do with the characters and the actors of the series.

so the final episode was a "clip" show?

not good

How much did the first season dvd cost?

The first episode I watched was where Kelso & the guys decide to go streaking when the President came to town.In the end, everybody backed out but Eric streaked to stop Red from like being super nervous.

Randy sucked in season 8.

That episode was funny.:D

It cost me $40.00.:(

$40!?I don't have that kind of money:mad:I want the first season too:(But they never freaking sell it where I live.

You might find it cheap on ebay.

In a way it was worth it because I laughed my butt off but it should have been $30.00.

I don't trust EBay.My daddy got me this pretty pink razor phone and when it came, the batteries were dead:mad::(

Anyway...Who is everybody's fave characters?Personally I like all of the Foremans, Fez and sometimes Kelso.
