That time Of Year? The Christmas Haul thread 2008!!!

Yep....for some of the new folks we picked up this year....every year round this time we put up a Christmas haul thread where we list the goodies we got for the ol'e X-mas.....or Hanuka.......just everything too....not just the cool stuff.


Sol old Roughy from the borken family with at least three christmases a year'll start......opened the stuff from my Dad today.


A Travel back for bathroom items, socks, a shirt or two.....a really damn nice robe, a Metal slinky in the box and.........gift of the year thus far........a ****ing crusader helmet........like....replica....but it's awesome...I'll load up a pic of it tomorrow....for now I'll find one like it on the web.

well it doesn't have the cool assed cross....but it's got a pointy bullet top.

i also got a gift card for Wal-Mart........went there today...bought a couple last minute gifts with it for other people.......yeah.....I know it's kinda lame.

And over by the MLs I saw something new.....still just HML1 but there was a bunch of Banshees and Emmas in there in American Packaging (With the picture in the upper left) So I did a quick look through....nothing new just a lot of Banshees and Emmas and one Herc.....out of the corner of my eye about five feet over and on the very bottom shelf I spotted a green boot. I went to inspect and there was a Black Skinned Rachel Grey from HML3 (Which I've never seen at retail)

I nabbed her cause she's a varient....no real interest in the figure......got to the til...she was $5.

For those that haven't seen these Vault books....they're great....each of them is a complete history on the Marvel/DC books.....but like not the characters.....it's all about the publishing and writrers and stuff....pretty wicked...and filled with all sorts of Scetch replications and junk....like a Merry marvel marching band pin and stuff.....really quite awesome.

for those of you who know... ive had an extremely rough past few months... (to make a long story short, i took a guy in out of the kindness of my heart, who had no where to go.. and he ended up screwing me over... costing me roughly $1000) me just being a nice guy... and this guy called himself a "Christian" haha

I picked up Guitar hero world tour for £50 with my discount using the gift card.
