Okay, I was in study hall, had nothing to do, and for some reason I thought about voices in peoples' heads. How does that work? Is it voices you know or just people you never heard before? Does anyone know what they're saying or telling you? Is it like them tormenting you?

I just thought about how that would be, voices in your head? That's so freakin' scary. I just thought about what that'd be like. (If this is how it is) Sitting alone somewhere and it's quiet, all of a sudden you hear people talking. People you don't know, and they won't leave you alone. You can't walk away or make them stop. Maybe they're even constantly hurting you with words. It's like a horror movie.

I swear, just thinking about that sent chills up me. Not kidding. That is so freakin' scary if that's how it works.

Explain please?

You can't just expect and mental illness to present the same in different people. Some hear the voices in their head talking TO them, some hear the voices talking ABOUT them. It's all different. Schizophrenia and other disassociative orders have many many many symptoms. My aunt, for example, when she had her break down was certain that the disk jockeys on KRoq radio were referring to her in cryptic code, and that a picture of a girl with headphones in Rolling Stone was supposed to be her blowing her brains out with music. Every case is different.
