The 100 Worst Songs (According to AOL)

Limp Bizkit- Nookie...? C'mon. Rollin' is ten times worse.

Damn, this list is ********. There are some damn decent songs on here.:o Seasons in the Sun is gorgeous, How Bizzare is fun 90's pop, I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) is one of the catchiest, funnest songs to sing, plus many more. Yes, some of these truly blow (Federline I am looking at you), but most of these are more than alright.

More proof AOL still sucks.

These songs don't belong on the list. True some of them outstayed their welcome, but they definitely fit their time-frame. Someone at AOL definitely hated the 90's for some reason.

95. Mambo No. 5 - Lou Bega
93. Jenny from the Block - J-Lo
89. Cherry Pie - Warrant
88. Thong Song - Sisqo
81. Get Ready for This - Unlimited
80. My Humps - Black Eyed Peas
67. Rumors - Lindsay Lohan
65. Whoomp! There It Is! - Tag Team
64. Breakfast at Tiffany's - Deep Blue Something
43. Everybody(Backstreet's Back) - Backstreet Boys
41. Blue(Da Ba Dee) - Eiffel 65
39. Physical - Olivia Newton-John
38. I Would Do Anything for Love(But I Won't Do That) - Meat Loaf
32. The Locomotion - Kylie Minogue
28. Livin La Vida Loca - Ricky Martin
25. I'll Be There For You - Rembrandts
24. We Built This City - Starship
17. MMMBop - Hanson
13. With Arms Wide Open - Creed
12. Wannabe - Spice Girls
11. My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
05. Barbie Girl - Aqua
04. She Bangs - Ricky Martin

Ebony and Ivory and My Heart Will Go On definitely don't deserve to be there as with so many other songs

Terrible list, as usual. Why are a good number of these songs the worst? Because they wouldn't fly present day with the young people? **** off. I'm going to continue walking the dinosaur...though I do agree with many of the recent selections.

"One Week" by Barenaked Ladies is on the list?! OH, IT'S ON NOW! :cmad:

Okay, I let everything else slide; hell, the fact that Michael was on the list in the first place made me mad but still I let it slide.

But MMMBop? No. You. Don't. Do. That!!!!!

Cherry Pie? CHERRY PIE?

That song is a national treasure! :cmad:

Also, LFO - Summer Girls. Probably the worst song ever written, but it's also the greatest song ever recorded.

Like the color purple, macaroni and cheese,
Ruby red slippers and a bunch of trees
Call you up but whats the use
I like Kevin Bacon,but I hate Footloose

Also, there's a slight ignorance with listing "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" by Meatloaf and listing the reason as 'Won't do what?'

He clearly states each thing he WONT do in the song if you actually listen to the lyrics.

And I would do anything for love,
I'd run right into hell and back,
I would do anything for love,
I'll never lie to you and thats a fact.

But I'll never forget the way you feel right now
- Oh no - no way - I would do anything for love,
But I wont do that, I wont do that, anything for love,
I would do anything for love, I would do anything for love,
But I wont do that, I wont do that.
In this verse he lists multiple things he WOULD do for love, and then states that forgetting the way she feels is something he WOULDN'T do.

And the song basically continues in that pattern.

What a weird list... and there were some seriously awful songs missing that I would have thought would be at the top... (unless I just missed them while browsing through).

I mean, where was Paris Hilton's single?

Breakfast at Tiffany's? Well what is it? A one hit wonder or one of the worst songs?

Ya can't be both.

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Oh man. Whoever made that list really needs to distinguish between what is a "bad" song and what is an overplayed or annoying song. Some of those songs I wouldn't call the worst. I'd say that during their time they were much overplayed and got annoying.

I mean Escape (The Pina Colada Song) is not BAD. I actually like that song and know TONS of people who love it.

Some of them are bad I will give them that but there's like maybe five or six songs on here that I would agree are just THE WORST but the rest are EXTREMELY debatable depending on who you ask.

I mean, of course, some of these songs today sound goofy because...guess what...they were recorded 20 to 30 years ago. They are going to age but it doesn't make them BAD.

The Girl is Mine? Break My Stride? Puttin' on the Ritz? Breakfast at Tiffany's? Seasons in the Sun? We Didn't Start the Fire? I'd Do Anything for Love? We Built this City?

**** you, AOL. :o

But thanks for reminding me to listen to "Blue (Da Ba Dee)".

i think i'll be downloading some of these songs i'd forgotten all about

Awful list. Although I do think "my humps" is terrible.

Yeah, I'm offended by some of the COVERS they list. Like "I Love Rock & Roll" and "Puttin' On The Ritz".

Justin Beiber could cover Imagine, but that doesn't change the fact that it's effing IMAGINE.

i suppose im okay with this list....i only glanced over it but i didnt see one song that i liked, so....

DAMN, this list is really really bad

'Do They Know It's Christmas?' is amazing.

'Breakfast at Tiffany's' is a great tune.

'I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)' Seriously, this is on the list?

'Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)' is a hilarious classic.

No Bieber?, no Jonas? :(

The sad part is most of those songs were hits at some point.

I think it's the fact that they are older and whoever did this list is obviously someone who is obviously much younger.

Where are some of these songs that are being played today? Like these awful rap songs and this horrible Lady Goo Goo Ga Ga broad?
