Hope it's the start of a big blue replacement.

I'm hoping this won't save Republican seats.

The hole we’re in as a country now is way way deeper than it was in 2018.

It might not even be recoverable. :( I have no hope for anything right now.

Mitch groomed Daniel Cameron in his own office and then even helped him get the AG position when Cameron didn’t even have the requisite number of years to statutorily qualify to serve as AG. But Cameron proved himself to be more of a Trump guy than a Mitch guy.

This is a nightmare of Mitch’s own creation. My only hope is that the racism that kept KY from voting for Cameron for governor will carry over to the senate race.

This better not be true. :cmad:

It's about protests and stopping voting - just like his order to ban mail voting and increase gerrymandering and ban voters from the voter rolls over bogus citizenship challenges.

I'd like to think that if Trump tried to cancel them outright the amount of protests would be staggering.

Democrat James Walkinshaw won the Sept. 9 Virginia special election to fill late Rep. Gerald Connolly’s seat, shrinking the Republican margin in the U.S. House of Representatives to six seats.

Walkinshaw, who served as Connolly’s chief of staff and is a Fairfax County Supervisor, beat Republican Stewart Whitson, a former FBI Special Agent and U.S. Army combat veteran. Walkinshaw will now represent Virginia’s deep-blue 11th congressional district, which covers most of Fairfax County in the Washington, DC suburbs.
