The 26th James Bond Film

My top three choices will be too old for a reboot, so going with a bit younger.

I put money on:

Nicholas Hoult
Joe Alwyn

After the rough around the edges, weight of the world look of old man Craig, she will go with baby face Bond next.

I’m glad they’re taking their time but we as fancasters will need to keep this in mind and starting thinking of, like, twenty to late twenties actors not guys almost at 40 like Cavill or fassbender

If they don't change the ethnicity. At least place it into the 1960's.

I feel like this is admitting bond is irrelevant though. And he’s never been more relevant obviously with world politics the way it is.

racechanging is good though. There’ll be the usual loud squacking from the usual areas but there’s a benefit to annoying such people

I was thinking of them too.

I still think Will Poulter would be interesting. A little outside the box and not the most faithful to the books, but he has a uniqueness and has range and could make it his own.

Nah, Poulter doesn't have the Bond presence for me. He'd make an interesting villain.

That's why he might make a good fit. Bond can have that darkness to him. But I get why he wouldn't be wouldn't be for everyone.

A complete reinvention can be anything but I’m thinking their seriously considering a person of color for the role.

I had a thought that could be quite the talker the next day when the new movie releases

We get our first scene with the new bond in bed with a lover. We see Dominic Cooper first. You think he's James Bond BUT ANOTHER MAN rolls over on the bed.

Yep Bond bedded a man.

Dominic Cooper and the new James Bond would be all over the news outlets the next day.

Dominic Cooper the first male lover of Bond

I can imagine what the internet would say to that and you know what……. Let them *****.

Didn’t Daniel Craig’s Bond already make a reference to being with a guy in Casino Royale?

As someone with Cerebral Palsy, my idea would be to make Bond physically disabled! That would be one way to reinvent the character! :o:oldrazz:

I 100% believe we will see a bi Bond in our lifetimes

in Spectre yes

My Bond 26

Plot: The unmade third Timothy Dalton Bond film was going to have a rich guy use technology to **** **** up, almost like an evil Tony Stark, with a robotic enhanced henchwoman. With how billionaires are ruling the world with their wealth and using cyber warfare to influence the world stage, maybe its time to dust this off.

James Bond: Late 20s to late 30s. No definitive actor in mind.

Moneypenny: After looking into her, I am definitely on the Jenna Coleman train. She seems perfect.

M: Edris Elba

Q: No real idea.

Evil Tech Billionaire

Augmented Assassin, complete with tricked out car which is technologically superior to whatever car Bond drives in the movie, which would make for a cool and intense car chase.

Female Reporter, the main love interest for Bond for the movie, as she finds evidence of Evil Tech Billionaire's illegal activities and is being targeted by Augmented Assassin, so Bond needs to find and protect her to get her info and complete his mission. They work together, obviously.

Well if we have Coleman can we have Peter Capaldi as Q?

Q- Your new gun. The barrel points away from your face. F'itty bye!

Why is Spectre the only Bond film not part of Prime?

My pitch would be borrow the plot from Anthony Horowitz “Forever and a day” and do a prequel to Casino Royale. Give the new Bond actor a chance to put his stamp on it like Craig did and tell the story of a Bond before he got his license to kill and he has to use his brains to get out of problems instead of just murdering his way out

I'm not too interested in a teen Bond, which has been touted a few times, but I do think there would be some mileage exploring those years (maybe mid to late 20s) where he's just joined MI6 and is progressing up the ranks towards 00 status. Exploring what is it that makes him stand out from his peers.

While o was getting my 2001: A Space Odyssey tattoo, he let me tack on my literary Bond tattoo that I’ve always wanted.

It’s of course the Russian cyrillic letter “Ш” aka ‘spy’ that a SMERSH agent carves Bond with…

I wanted the tattoo to have the vibe of knife cuts. So, I drew the base shape and I let the tattooist play with it from there. I like that he made the left spoke and bottom one nice follow through-line, and then did the middle and right spoke with more of a striking manner.

Ive only seen the brosnan and Craig movies and maybe 1 or 2 of the Connery movies, which I think we're Dr. No and FRWL but that was years ago. but my suggestion for the future of the series is that they continue what Craig started by reinventing Bond again. Casino Royale is a masterpiece to me because, for me anyway, it took the Bond character and made him into a much more layered character and not just cliche. Craig is what the character always should've been in my eyes and they should build upon what made that version so interesting to audiences. I'm not a James Bond expert by any means, but those movies finally made the character appealing to me.

Brosnan is a great way to start the series. That’s who I started with. Too many people give that era criticism but it was super easy to jump in as a new fan
