The 26th James Bond Film

Did someone suggest Olivia Coleman as M? You need someone no nonsense and stern.
Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos
DP is Thimios Bakatakis

Barry Keoghan as Bond...
Colin Farrell as M...
Mark Gattis as Q
Rachel Weisz as Moneypenny
Bill Camp as Felix

Olivia Coleman as "main villain"
Christopher Abbot as "henchman"

Angeliki Papoulia as "Bond girl-1"
Jessica Barden as "Bond girl-2"

Property of a Lady is the "lost" James Bond film. Dalton was definitely going to do that one in 1991, and then I could see him doing something like Goldeneye around 93-94 to finish off.

Finding out that Goldeneye was originally planned for Dalton made it make so much more sense. It always seemed weird in that it was an "ending" movie as the first one for Brosnan.

Do you remember with Skyfall they just announced a bunch of names and let us speculate which all turned out wrong in the end? Wouldn’t that be fun again? Like, if fans called the shots it would have been Ralph Fiennes as Blofeld, Naomie Harris as a random Bond girl, ben whishaw as the big bad etc.

like, imagine if they just said here’s the next bond film

Henry Cavill
Idris Elba
Olivia Colman
Rachel weisz
Gemma chan

and then we all speculated and it was all wrong. Like Cavill actually plays the villain or whatever

An ending in what sense?

It’s only for a limited time unfortunately. Thank god I got my box set.

I was expecting them to release a new box set with the 60th anniversary with all 25 films and the conclusion to Craig's tenure, but I'm surprised they haven't announced anything yet. I hope it happens next year or something.

We’ve had the whole lot on prime for a couple of months now. It’s lovely being able to see them all. Although I tried to get the better half onto Thunderball and when I checked on him at the end of the movie he was fast asleep!

Those under water sequences do go on a long time, so I don't blame him.

I must admit I was nodding a bit. Just because the water looked too soothing for a fight haha. But yeah great film, some great scenes. Loved domino

That's pretty common knowledge. What's more interesting is how they're ruling out younger actors and looking at thirty somethings. Not totally surprising given the casting history, but it's something I guess.

Yeah I knew they used that scene for screen tests I remember when a then unknown to us Sam Neil did it back in 86

I guess it depends on where in their thirties they’re talking about. Early thirties would still be the youngest Bond we’ve seen in quite some time.

I know Henry Cavill was up for Bond when they were casting Casino Royale, but considering he was only 30 when MOS hit, it’s kind of nuts to think of a Bond who would’ve only been, like… 23? To me that’s a little too far on the young side.

I just feel like we’ve already seen what Henry would bring to the role in the man from uncle. I’m sure there’s someone else out there who can surprise us in the right way

In quite some time but in military terms that is "older." You need someone you can buy as an experienced killer.

Connery was early 30s. I think Lazenby was 29! Sure didn't look it. It was all that broiled meat they ate.

the one thing I wanna see in a future 007 film is the return of David Arnold I LOVED the music he did for his 5 films and would LOVE to see him come back.
