Action-Adventure The 26th James Bond Film

A Kendrick theme with Paul Mescal as Bond would instantly bring the cool back to 007

(Imo bond is always cool but you know what I mean, the general audience)

I’d absolutely love it, but part of me wonders if it’s not a decade or two too late for them to get this gig.

I dunno, I know they've experimented a lot and gone away from their original sound at times - but I feel their production values, songwriting and the general polish and effects they give their songs has improved vastly. For a movie soundtrack, that's a must imo. I thought their last album Will of the People was great too, more of a return to the heavy rock sound.

Do not let him near it.

I have to say, playing the Indiana jones game makes me really keen for a good Bond game

Gonna brush right past the idea that Dickinson was just curious and start theorizing that he’s actually gunning for 007.

It's time Muse had a crack at it. Their blend of rock and symphonies and Queen style delivery could make for a very interesting and more energetic Bond song.

Matt Bellamy is a crypto bro and created an NFT about Jeff Buckley's guitar.

My first instinct is to say that they’d never give us a Bond that goofy looking, but I seem to recall that folks had some things to say about Craig’s looks when he was cast too, so who knows…

Still I don’t think Charles needs the ego boost of being played by Dominic West and an actor who would go on to be 007.

If there were complaints about Craig's looks when he was cast then I shudder to think of what the reaction would be if O'Connor were cast with a much more toxic internet than 20 years ago.

It’s kind of intriguing, this would be the first Bond who doesn’t serve queen and country, specifically queen elizabeth 2. He would serve king and country ie King Charles who he played in The Crown of course.

Anyway I know this would set the internet on fire because many people are attracted to him because of God’s Own Country

Not with how his cancer treatment is going... 😬

Maybe King William.

Broccoli was irked in one early meeting when Salke referred to James Bond by a dreaded word: “content.”

Amazon : Come on, let us run this franchise into the ground with countless tv spinoffs! It worked for Star Wars, right?

O’Connor is a great actor but I don’t know if I can see him as Bond. Maybe though.

I think it really depends on who they want to gear this toward. I feel like Brosnan and Craig were both fairly representative of the eras they emerged from. Brosnan had a bit of camp and whimsy mixed in with debonair persona. He felt indicative of the mood of the post-Cold War 90s. Very escapist and fun. But Craig had more of the post 9/11 grittiness and introspection. His Bond felt more like a mask James wore to cope with his trauma. You can largely look at the way Batman is cast and presented as a sorta directional means of predicting Bond, I think. There are exceptions, but by and large Batman has always been pretty indicative of the generation's mood.

So my guess is the new Bond will be someone who looks very much like Bond, but in a boyish weirdo sorta way. Someone who wears their flaws more outwardly and is more charming because of it. I could see this being Nicholas Hoult's big leading vehicle and I'd be really happy with that choice personally.

Amazon really wanting to piss away one of the few IPs that can bring billions of dollars in revenue so they can do TV shows no one wants to watch.

Kind of like Disney did with Star Wars. :o
