If age ain’t an issue, I’d go with Theo James. He has done enough so far to let me know he’d be pretty damn good in the role.
What is it with this thread trying to get me to say mean things about Henry Cavill today?Being a plank of wood doesn’t help either.

I forgot he was in Divergent until Pop Crave told me its anniversary.Theo James would be great. Not my first choice but I'd be happy with him.
I forgot Divergent was a thing for 10+ years until this very moment.I forgot he was in Divergent until Pop Crave told me its anniversary.![]()
Shame on you. It was Fox's Hunger Games.I forgot Divergent was a thing for 10+ years until this very moment.
I will refrain from saying what I think of this so I won’t get banned.Pascal?
RIP James Bond.
She did but also said Idris could’ve been Bond.I remember when the Sony hack happened and it was revealed that Amy Pascal liked to make racist jokes about Obama.
Yeah, with her and MAGA Jeff calling the shots, we’re never going to see a POC play Bond. This whole thing just sucks.
Sony co-chair Amy Pascal wrote a lot of regrettable things in her leaked email correspondences, so it’s nice to read something we can agree on: She wants Idris Elba to be the next James Bond. The Daily Beast reports that in an email to Elizabeth Cantillon, a former vice-president for Columbia Pictures, which distributes the Bond films, Pascal simply typed, “Idris should be the next bond.” Yes, please.
Everyone has preferences, but Henry Cavill would make a fantastic James Bond! Just look at his performance in "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." – he nails the suave, charismatic spy vibe!Ugh, no offense, but I don't understand the obsession with Cavill as Bond. You just know exactly how he would play it. Bland, wooden, and like he is trying really hard to act and emote. Why not cast a great actor instead, who would actually do something new and interesting with the part? CoughJoshO'Connorcough

Nobody wants Glenn Close's evil twin. Those names could've been way worse, to be honest. Extremely cautiously optimistic.
Do you prefer, let's say, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman? Or how about Simon Kinberg?Nobody wants Glenn Close's evil twin.
