The \8/ and the \S/

The Reeve S wasn't the classic one either, sorry. Here you go, no raising and no colors on the 4 versions of the \S/ that we're discussing:}

Smallville went his own was with the \S/, and yes, it looks kinda SR-ish, but it's not the SR \S/, nor is it the classic or the Reeve \S/.

Your right it's not as wide as the SR but when put on the suit it will then be just as wide and look just like it.

Not if they dont use a raised symbol. If its fabric like the classic and uses the classic colors then I think you'll see something that looks much different.

True but thats only if its not rasied which I have a feeling it will be. All outfits are going the Spider-Man route these days.

I think the body suit will be like that but who knows the \S/ may be sewn on.

Well it fits the show that's why.

Well, I like to think it fits SUPERMAN, and that's why it's being done that way. There will always be exceptions to every rule - even SV has had "dark" episodes (Vengeance) - but I think SV's approach is to touch that collective mentality people have of the world in which Superman exists. He's the antithesis of Batman. He lives in a bright, golden world of primary colors. Unlike Gotham, Metropolis is a city of the day, which is fitting since Superman is a character powered by the sun.

Now, c'mon folks. Lets keep this thread on topic. Save discussion about the suit for another thread, eh? As to the logo, THIS is what we actually saw on SMALLVILLE...

Not yet. Lose The Blue diamond shield , and put back The Red Shield Diamond. Then it's The Official Superman Emblem.

It is YOUR opinion that it's the SR logo. Others have disagreed. Outside of the fact it's an "S" within a general diamond shaped border, I think there's a huge difference (color, profile, flat borders, etc). Why are you pressing the argument? You think it's the same S. Great. Other people disagree. Move on. Please? Or take the comparisons to SuperWorld. I'm asking nicely.

Because it is still in dealing with the show but I am done with the subject thanks to Superboy. But I was pressing it because you quoted me as well.
