Wasn't that from Sneeze? And of course it counts. It's the shape of the shield. Cleverly move around some yellow pieces and Viola!, you've got yourself a properly colored \S/

But on topic, it was great to see the classic \S/ so heavily represented in Bloodline. I've watched every episode, but I don't have them memorized as many people do. In what previous episodes have we seen the full Superman logo?

The suit is "realistic" enough, so what do you want exactly?

Here's the explanation given by TPTB:

"He isn't a guy who is going to put the tights and the boots on yet," Souders said. "He hasn't gone as far as Green Arrow or Black Canary. He's still on his path to becoming that man. But he is definitely recognizing that there is a second identity for him. As much as he knows what Clark Kent looks like, he needs to figure out what the Superman part looks like. So it might not be the costume everybody is used to seeing, but it is one step closer to that."

Thats what I think most of the negitive comments are coming as a result off ^^

People who see it seem to think they are implying its Smallville's official version of the Superman costume.. which it isn't

Its mostly people who don't watch the show &/or Superman Returns fans being overly negitive about it as well moreso than actual fans of the show.

If this was Superman's final suit on the show there would be a reason to be outraged, but its not so its all fuss over nothing

exactly!

also, the main page has the picture titled tom welling as the man of steel...which is misleading since he's not superman yet. so I guess I could see why people would be pissed if they don't read spoilers or know what direction the show is heading.
