???

There is nothing wrong with showing discontent for this poster, if anything it gets us talking.

Right but is it based on some alt poster?

Yes there is! It shows Batfans are defensive and stupid because posters don't get people excited and we overreact to things because the poster isn't that bad and we had too many high hopes for the poster so its our fault we're let down!

:whatever:

That t-shirt is better than the real deal poster. And it is following the black and white colour scheme that was established previously. So where's the orange on that shirt if that's all the go now? If this poster wasn't getting this reaction (a rightful reaction IMO) we wouldn't have the "it's just a poster, move on" talk, I'm sure of it.

because that I exactly what I was saying :whatever:

The only thing that REALLY ticks me off about this poster is the sudden change in colour scheme...

This movie/marketing has had that black and white/monochromatic look for ages now. It had its own identity similar to BB/TDK... but thats been thrown out the window.

Its a fanboy complaint... but still.

Batman Begins had that one poster of Batman in the Batcave which deviated completely away from dark orange palette in the other posters whilst this still retains some of it although it's certainly redder and warmer because of the the flaming batsign in the middle.

People here are definitely overreacting... It's a POS poster, so what? The first two are very cool.

I hope this isn't what I sounded like, because it really wasn't my intention if it was. Ive just seen lately that theatrical posters in general have been disappointing, for example Prometheus, but at the same time the level of outrage for this poster far greater than any of the other disappointing posters Ive seen.

The first one was cool, the second one was semi-cool in concept but loses some cool points because of the poor execution.
