The Abominations Origin in the Movie

Now that were stuck with Ang Lee's version of the Hulks origin will the Abominations origin end up being too much like Bruce Banners?

I'm sure they'll keep the same origin from the 616 books, Emil Blonsky will intentionally expose himself to gamma radiation in his lust for power after witnessing the effect it had on Banner.

The gremlin ears might look silly on film. They should probably be toned down. Also we've seen many giant lizard types on screen before, it'd be better to emphasis another angle or version of the Abonimation I think.

Also if you want to visually differentiate him from the Hulk a little more you could make him alot darker. Or almost black with a green shine in the light. This would look awesome actually.

I believe he's stuck in that form.

That's kind of the point of interest about the character. His base strength level is above the Hulk's and he retains his intelligence, but is unable to transform back or grow stronger.

I was just thinking and somethjing I hope they do not do but this is Penn. What if they make Ross into the Abomination? It sounds crazy but don't forget in the comics Ross merged with Zzzax for a period and battled the Hulk.

I would hate this but somehow this nightmare scenario of how it could go all wrong occurred to me. Anyways, I hope this was just a nightmarish thought that will go no further then this post.

I'd also like to see the Abomination as a mutated super-version of the Creature from the black Lagoon... no kiddin...

well as long as something gamma irrateated causes the transformation into abomination.even if its a gama infused lizard bite, I really dont mind giveing them some leeway.As long as the character stays true, then I gess a stupid transformation wouldnt be so bad....och I think what I said just hurt me.
