‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Episode 4 ‘Eye Spy’ Synopsis

“Eye-Spy” – Agent Coulson and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team try to track down a mysterious woman who has single-handedly committed numerous high-stakes heists. But when the woman’s identity is revealed, a troubling secret stands to ruin Coulson, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Tuesday, October 15 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.

Guest starring are Pascale Armand as Akela Amador, Dominic Burgess as Englishman, Michael Klesic as Kropsky, Julia Emelin as inn keeper and Nick Gracer as armed guard.

My wish for Agent Coulson to have a femme fatale in his past has been answered, and right speedily. :awesome:

"Pascale Armand as Akela Amador" sounds like the femme fatale/thief in question.

Hmmm....beautiful black woman, vaguely African-sounding name, thief, most likely has superpowers (why else would AOS be interested in her?).....

....sounds like Ororo. :oldrazz:

I know you'tr kidding, but jeez! Every Black woman in a Marvel production can't be Storm, Monica Rambeau or Misty Knight.

Or alien or Robot.

I think that Ruth Negga
is head of the organization that tried to kill Mike in the pilot.

That's quite possible. My theory about that is

"Centipede" is actually HYDRA, or a faction of the evil organization. Negga or Pascale Armand could be Madame Hydra or another higher-up in the faction. Or the Serpent Society could make an appearance in some form. Mostly that's wishful thinking on my part because I'd hate for "Centipede" to be the real name of the group they're up against. It's lame. HYDRA is much cooler, plus of course it's comic book canon.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought that they said that "Centipede" was the name of the device on Peterson's arm, not the name of the group that made it?

Likewise. There isn't an organization Centipede, it was just a research project. Who is behind it? Yet to be revealed, though I doubt its AIM.

Why would u doubt AIM?

They are responsible for Extremis.

Michael Petersen had gamma, super soldier serum and Extremis plus alien metal involved in his powers.

Two most likely to be involved are AIM or the Leader.
Second thought our own government.

I don't think they're allowed to use her, or are they? I'm not completely sure how the whole legal things works.

Besides Ororo doesn't have any ties with Agent Coulson.

Wouldn't they use Halle Berry if it was her? Or no.

Also, they would use a bigger named actress to play Monica or Misty. Pascale Armand is mainly a theater actress.

I doubt AIM, because this experiment doesn't *achieve* anything for AIM. They already have basically mature Extremis, that gives better results than Centipede did.

At the end of the episode Coulson said, "We didn't cut off the head of the Centipede." I took that to mean that "centipede" is an organization, or at least it's what they're calling the group that designed and funded that experiment for now, until SHIELD uncovers the details. "Cutting off the head of the Centipede" suggests HYDRA to me, or at least that's my hope.

Really? I don't remember him saying "We didn't cut off the head of the Centipede."

Oh shoot, I'll have to go back and rewatch it. :yay:

Has it ever been revealed the date of episode 6?

Why are they showing reruns already?

Many factors go into that--several other series did that this week and it's also common for shows with a fair amount of FX to fill in with reruns.

Star Trek Next Gen always had to show re-runs fairly early in the season while the FX crew caught up.

Why are they showing reruns already?
basically it comes down to this: it takes about 14 days (weekends and holidays not included) to produce an episode, but 6 days between the airings. so either you produce the whole season before you start airing or you have reruns every now and then to gain time
