I thought this was going to be a follow up to JL? I expect flash backs but I thought the main story was going to be chronologically after JL.

Apparently "Aquaman" starts shooting this week.

The filming of blockbuster Aquaman, starting this week at Village Roadshow Studios, will create more than 600 jobs and inject more than $100 million into the local economy as the city further cements its reputation as a filming destination.

It's been a long time coming. There is something about about Aquaman and Wonder Woman having films that makes the DCEU a tangible thing to me. WW has been overdue for some live action love and Aquaman has needed to be shown as more than just the guy that controls fish to the wider pop culture world.
