I can’t stop looking at these figures.
Dying to see the real costumes.
Looks like Aquaman will be up there with my favorite CBM costumes.

Are those legitz? Because that Manta just made love to my eyeballs.

They look good but I'm not finding anything but a Tweet with them online and said Tweet chain has two Youtube vids featuring the figures in the thumbnails that lead to inactive videos.

Mera's costume is so pretty <3 It all looks so beautiful *crying noise*

Just bringing this up... That figure's BM helmet doesn't look like the one we saw Mateen with in EW weeks back.

You gotta protect the butt.

Manta has something similar, maybe everyone has them and they aide with swimming?

The pedant in me is very pleased he's finally getting a trident that has three teeth.

Yep, these look amazing. My only nitpick would be Aquaman's butt armor. Why does he have butt armor?
You can only have your ass pinched by crab people so many times before you do something about it.

My guess is it's something as simple as modesty. Basically, I imagine it's there to allow Jason to walk around and to allow filming of him that doesn't provide a clear look at his butt too often. It's the one thing about the costume that's not comic accurate.

I quite like the costumes. I like how Snyder was respectful of filmmakers coming after him by choosing not to feature iconic costumes in JL in a way that would steal their thunder. I also love how we already have an evolution of these outfits that tells a story about who these characters are. Arthur goes from wearing the armor that Vulko likely loaned to him to fight Steppenwolf, to wearing the combat gear we see in that confrontation with Orm, to his final costume. I hope it's played like a special moment, kind of like when Clark put his suit on. For both, it signifies finally learning about and embracing one's heritage and destiny, so I'd like it to be momentous.

Maybe he wanted to draw the eye to that, codpiece-style:

Good.

That is the Prototype suit, why do people hate prototypes ?

Flash's suit in JL was a prototype suit but fans hated it, but it has to look like a Prototype, there a reason why it looked like that. People just like to have advanced, sleek looking suit at the outset, at the go. Why ?

Ever looked at Iron Man's Mark-1 armor ? Or Spidey's home-made suit ? Because that was their prototype. I don't remember people hating it, smh.

The red and white thing on the table of the EW picture is very similar to the back of Black Mantas suit.

Mary Poppins Returns just moved up a week so will come out before this. I'm not sure how much crossover there is between the audiences but could put a dent in the Aquaman box office.

But the big news, in my opinion, is Disney moving Mary Poppins Returns from Christmas Day (Dec. 25) to Dec. 19, 2018. Not only is that six days earlier than planned (Christmas is on a Tuesday this year), but it royally screws over the deluge of big releases opening on Dec. 21, 2018.

That slot, the key "best weekend on the planet" frame, is currently home to Universal/Comcast Corp.'s Welcome to Marwen, Sony's Holmes and Watson, Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc.'s Aquaman, Paramount/Viacom Inc.'s Bumblebee and Fox's Alita: Battle Angel. Oh, and the Emily Blunt sequel is sure to complicate matters for Sony's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Universal/Comcast Corp.'s YA fantasy The Mortal Engines, both of which open on Dec. 14. So, yeah, I imagine we're going to see a ton of release date musical chairs taking place in the next week or two.

This date change further cements Disney's refusal to move Solo: A Star Wars Story from May to December to accommodate the director swap. They are now going to likely own the big pre-Christmas frame anyway, while the rest of the industry readjusts their year-end slate. While it may be easy enough to shift one or two big movies to the Dec. 25 date, since that spot is now mostly unoccupied, this may be the year that a studio has to step up and drop a big December release in that first-weekend-of-December slot.

...and that's Forbes :funny:
