As an aside, since it seems like Wan just hit a homerun with Aquaman, It now makes me more excited to see what he’d do with Mortal Kombat since he’s producing the reboot for WB
 
Despite the better the reviews, i think Aquaman shows even more of a disconnection between critics and audience.

The level of tweets are overwhelmingly positive.

This just furthers support the idea that critic reactions/tomatometer scores are growing less and less relevant when it comes to audience reactions and ticket sales.

Curious to see if this trend continues over the next decade. Also curious to see if movies becoming more comic-booky has any effect on the disconnect between critics and the masses.
 
Reading some of these tweets makes me feel ooooooooooooooooooooooooooold. Though I dont mind being old :)
