Armie Hammer - Harvey Dent

Everyone thinks he could be Batman, but he’s not!

I feel like Hammer would be a better fit for a lighter superhero. I think he could pull off Superman or Captain America but he doesn’t come off dark or intense enough to be Batman, at least he hasn’t in anything I’ve seen him in. I’m not saying he couldn’t pull it off but so far, I feel like he’s better at lighter characters.

Batman/Bruce Wayne – Jamie Dornan

Alfred – Hugh Laurie

Catwoman – Elizabeth Debicki

Commissioner Gordon – Ethan Hawke

Dr. Leslie Thompkins – Glenn Close

Luke Fox – Daniel Kaluuya

Lucius Fox – Jeffrey Wright

Vicki Vale – Priyanka Chopra

Clayface – Rami Malek

Dollmaker – Ben Skarsgard

Poison Ivy – Riley Keough

Mr. Freeze – Daniel Craig

Owlman – Armie Hammer

The Penguin – Andy Serkis

The Riddler – Sam Rockwell

Debicki as Catwoman would be the only time a tall Batman matters.

Definitely one of the characters from Suicide Squad I would like to see make a return. They could show him with partial lizard skin.

Sharlto as Ra’s though? o_O

For some reason, I've always really liked Reda Kateb for Ra's al Ghul. I first saw him in Zero Dark Thirty and he's stuck with me ever since. Something about him that I like.

I'm pretty bored of Ra's Al Ghul, but if he HAD to show up, I'd like to see him as a shadowy, Blofield like figure on death's door, played by an older actor who carries a lot of weight, someone like... Franco Nero!

Aha I thought it was out-of-the-box! A guy that's been around for centuries would probably have some quirks--I thought Sharlto could handle that well, while still retaining a perception of danger.

If I had my druthers, I'd use Ra's sparingly and distantly. Less as a villain, and more as an ambient aspect of the setting. Imply that there has been conflict in the past, but that Batman and Ra's have reached a detente that has largely held, with them mostly staying out of each other's way. They each want things from the other ( Ra's wants Bruce to marry his daughter and succeed him as Head of the Demon; Bruce wants Ra's to stop running an international cartel of assassins, cultists, and conspirators ), but they both admit that going to war right now won't get either of them what they want. It both provides a distinctive take from the Nolan version, and provides fertile ground for plot complications.

Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter ... Phil Davis

I like the idea of Benicio Del Toro as Ra's, depending on which Benicio you get.

I think I’d prefer Bardem but it’s really got to be a MENA actor in the role next time around.

P.S. I wouldn’t want another Ra’s story for the very next Batman movie either.

Ehh, if they do Ra's again (hopefully not, at least in a first movie, probably even second) I'd probably want someone actually middle-eastern this time around.

There's no way they would cast anyone but a middle eastern for Ra's.
