Chiwetel in the new Marky Mark trailer..
Technically sound but he bores me.
After watching the incredible Sexy Beast last night...screw it, let’s bring in the mighty Ben Kingsley for Hugo Strange.
No Robert Pattinson... don't beat up that elderly man!!!
Bardem would be the most exciting choice for Strange I think. When I think about his voice & just how excited non fans and fans alike would be, based on his reputation..
I been pushing Bardem for at least a couple years. He's my favorite for the role, although I do think the character may need a little reinvention.
What do you guys think of Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler) playing either Janice Porter or Sarah Essen?
Better Call Saul wraps this year, so she can use a new series. And I honestly think her performance as Kim is the best I’ve seen from any actress on television.
OK after just watching the trailer for Soderberg’s new heist movie, Brendan Fraser seriously needs to play Tony Zucco or Rupert Thorne.
He looks so awesome in that. His Orson Welles heft is really adding character to him.
Reece Shearsmith for Thomas Elliot/Hush.
For those who have seen In The Earth, you know who I'm talking about.
Since he’s probably not going to be Constantine, Oliver Jackson Cohen for either Harvey Dent or Tommy Elliot.
You mean Superman?
Thought that was Jake Gyllenhaal, for a second.
OJC is good for a Mike Flanaghan Clayface or Talon in Reeves’ trilogy. I don’t see Dent as being that tall but I’d adapt if he was cast.
Vicky Krieps as Poison Ivy?
she has experience with poisonous plants after all
Riley Keough for Ivy.
I would post the trailer for Zola to show why she can be villainous, but I don't want to get banned.
Krieps is great but too quirky for Ivy. Keough is perfect.
She’d make a great Harley too
I’m ready for a new Harley. Margot’s version is subpar. The accent is very unnatural.
Michael Fassbender is perfect for Freeze but I want some new blood. Playing two sympathetic supervillains is too much.
Daniel Craig works. It’s funny, the best choices for Magneto also work for Mister Freeze.
Margot’s accent is perfect.
Keep Robbie for as long as possible. She’s great.
The Hype needs a dislike button.
Harley Quinn is one of the biggest questions for DC Films.
I would assume that there has to be some interest from either Reeves or Phillips to use the character. Perhaps Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn could fulfill a position akin to that of the upcoming plans for Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a universe-hopping Margot Robbie as Harley. I go back and forth on this iteration of the character. I can’t tell if it’s the acting or writing that hasn’t worked for me. I am very much looking forward to James Gunn’s take to get a better idea of how I feel about Robbie in the role. One thing is for sure, the costume is finally decent in Gunn’s movie.
Reeves’ expansive plans for the franchise (which is rumored to include multiple spin-offs) suggests that Harley has to fit in there somewhere. The apparent BTAS influence could also suggest that we’ll see Harley at some point in the Reeves Batman universe; that’s where she debuted after all. Harley Quinn joining the Birds of Prey and the Suicide Squad have been a big part of the character’s cinematic history, but I feel like this disproportionately represents her involvement with these teams. Where Harley most comfortably fits is as an elite member of the Batman Rogues Gallery. Harley works as a solo character, but after that detour grows tiresome, it becomes clear IMO that Harley is at her most interesting when we see her interacting with the likes of Batman, Joker, and Poison Ivy.
