because it's sorta sad when people waste hours of their lives by griping about things they don't like, and then trying to piss off other's in the process.. it's pretty much the lowest type of person you can be on the internet right there with being caught as a "person of walmart" without meaning to be...

Why are you wasting your life reading and replying to my posts? I personally think anyone that loves everything no matter what is a bit sadder because they can't think for themselves but that is neither here nor there because your comment wasn't a personal attack either right?

No he clearly said "Avengers."

He said Avengers, but everyone knows Hawkweye was in Avengers for more than ten minutes. But, in Thor he was in it for about a minute and his presence was felt. So 'Thor' makes more sense than 'Avengers.'

Or, rather than you speaking for him -- I'll just believe what I said until Repulsor says if he meant 'Thor' or not. But, reading comprehension wise it comes off as a typo.

Some people in here live in a bubble. That's fine for them. I don't care. I don't respond to their posts about how awesome it was when Spider-Man swung out in front of doves at the end of ASM. What bothers me is when they think they are right no matter what and they rebut posts about general news because it isn't cheery and bursting with rainbows. This is clearly signs of production trouble from either meddling from Sony or lack of being a good director from Webb as he should have caught that before shooting. It's one of those. But apparently, ALL IS GREAT!

Exactly. I don't see how anyone is "awesome they cut MJ! That was AWESOME news everyone, really spectacular! It means nothing but good things having to do this!" ASM 1 was stuffed that they had to get rid of important character-defining moments. ASM 2 is more stuffed. And it seems that the way it's stuffed similarly doesn't gel. It seems like a repeat of what happened with ASM 1.

Another of that power unit ish setting.

Adrian Toomes (Colm Feore) is connected to raw croft, which plays a pivotal role in the film. Also, it could set up a sinister six storyline for future films. So why would it be better to remove him instead of MJ?

And it's safer to assume that felicity jones would be Felicia hardy than getting vulture or green goblin in the movie.

i said it would be better because of what webb said about focusing on gwen and peter's relationship. surely mj is more pertinent to such dynamic, more so than toomes or anyone else for that matter.

i was commenting about how webb's excuse to remove mj is both ironic and, given the amount of set up elsewhere, somewhat miss placed.

i'm not saying that colm feore or anyone from ravenscroft should be removed, i'm saying that if they had to cut something in order to focus on gwen and peter, then cutting mj was a counter-intuitive idea.

i don't think it is any safer to assume x character over y character, but that's okay. my main point was on the disconnect between wanting to focus on gwen and peter, and removing mj. points about vulture/black cat being set up were ancillary to my main "argument"

Huh? Which was cut? If you say Beast and Mystique that romantic subplot was one of my favorite things in it.

And Repulsor Blast and Chaseter, align with you two dudes. So far it's you, me, DarkB, and someone else who doesn't see what's so awesome about this.

They cut a love story subplot between xavier and Moira, which lets be honest is something they want in most movies, but the scenes were cut so they could concentrate on the friendship story of 2 guys xavier and magneto

I think anyone whose crying because they cut scenes with MJ are just getting silly, and il say again these scenes were not part of a love triangle or anything and that couldn't be more obvious to see, one scene was to drive Peter somewhere, another was a chat with gwen and another was running out shocked looking at car wreckage and that was all that was probably filmed? Its already been said she only filmed a few scenes, That won't effect anything, fair enough its a shame those scenes were removed but come on, hey be angry that he cut them scenes out but don't act like they will ruin the film because them scenes were clearly never a major part in the story

Okay, you do that.

In the comic books, yes. Not the movies though.

I am a fan of Spider-Man. If you are a fan of Thor, you have every right to post about how you think they are doing Thor wrong because it's your opinion on a character you love. Not everything on here has to be rosy rays of compliments. Not everyone that loves everything or hates everything related to a character in a movie has or doesn't have a right to post in a forum dedicated to that character.

Not all the crew are smiling in that picture: production is not going well. :o

sorry, just became aware of this thor / avengers stuff haha.

i misspoke, hawkeye was in avengers for less than 13 minutes. for some reason i thought he was in it for 9. memory failed me and i didn't bother checking with a google search.

sorry guys.

Huh, didn't know there was more to that. I'd say that was still there, just not as much, or at it least it seemed that way because of the final "kiss" joke and the chemistry they had...

It's really ASM 1 came off stuffed and suffered because of it. ASM 2 has even more, and indicators seem to point to it similarly being stuffed now.

I kind of agree with you on this. Since they're removing MJ, the minor roles for Felicity Jones, Colm Feore, Marton Csokas and whoever else they' got in there better be damn worth it.

Just checked and 12: 44 minutes. :wow:

Yeah we get it your the rebel, you ain't a lovey doves everything is awesome fan, we get it, you don't have to come on and prove that whenever something new pops up

i also apologise for calling you stupid i just get EXTREMLY heated when it comes to my number 1 hero and his franchise

Kinda off topic but I really wanted James Gandolfini for a future Kingpin either in this or the Daredevil reboot.

Agreed and same here. I really wished/hoped that they would fix the problems from the first film. But it just seems to be heading the same direction. And anyone who expresses worry or doubt of not getting their Spider-Man on screen are instantly shoved out? What about all of us Spider-Man films who were upset by the first film and hoping the second one finally does the character justice again?

No, it's just when chaseter constantly reports back here with more negative comments and nothing else. He has nothing nice to say. Ever.

3-4 years ago I am sure a lot of people in here now were the same rays of sunshine for SM4.

This is the first time I've been negative other than wanting a super model for MJ (but come on lol, practically every guy on here wanted a girl to salivate over haha). Just with the problem with ASM 1 being over-stuffed and indicators that are pointing to ASM 2 being over-stuffed has got me worried (especially when I had hoped ASM 1 didn't work out that well because it was just Webb's first time out of the gate really and that meant ASM2 would fix that).

TASM1 wasn't overstuffed...

What's so unlikely about showing characters before becoming villains, saving the villains for later installments? We know Webb is building a bigger Spidey world, we know they'll want to include Sinister 6 at some part. This is a good way of introducing the characters.

I don't get what's so hard to understand about that.

Because Sam Raimi went that route and we never got the villain. If anything, I am betting Webb's series will show the characters becoming the said villain in the respective film they first appear in.

whos saying the second film wont do it justice just because tasm 2 cuts out a scene the movie is in ruins its F'IN ridiculous how so many people jump to so many conclusions @ Ultimatehero

Yes I believe that final kiss is the only part of the subplot that remained in the film, which is why its seen as pretty random when you think actually he had a closer relationship with magneto then he did her in the final film and that kiss was almost like there had been tension there, its in some deleted scenes that were on the DVD

The parents plot was alot of what they cut out evidently from TASM and yeah it does seem odd in editing due to most the film being heavy on whatever part they had in the story, but I wouldn't class a few scenes with MJ as being the same

Your opinion isn't fact, dude. It seemed that way to me, or mostly because it seemed like the scenes they should have focused on were the ones with Peter's parents and the dinner table at the Stacy's that really furthered the character and focus. Which seemed to be lost because the film couldn't be that long.
