I don't see that going well for Andrew.
Sounds like a plausible teaser to me but since it's coming from CBM, I highly doubt any of this is true.
when will that EW magazine be available? I can't wait to see the new pics
Probably EW won't have new pictures, TASM 2 will only get half a page in a big Comic-Con story. They will use either a set pic we've already seen or the first official image, with the suit.
Also, I like the idea of the teaser. Better than the first-person view from the first one (even if that was cool as ****).
That reminds me that this movie needs more FP shots. Those were great in TASM (albeit short).
in the 2011 EW coverage of TASM just before SDCC had a few new pics
Yes, but we had them before the magazine. So they were "new", but not for us. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong
I honestly don't want them to overdo this first person thing. It worked in ASM because these powers were new to him and you got to experience him exploring them for a few seconds, which was cool. But that's enough for me, I don't want it to become a gimmick of this series.
You're remembering it wrong, we got the new pics from the magazine at first we got semi-quality scans of the the pics from the article, then we got high quality scans, and then later they released the pictures officially
You are remembering it wrong.
ASM was on the cover of EW that year and they had an entire 3-4 page spread with a bunch of new pics.
And yeah, while scans of the pages leaked, we never got the pics on their own prior.
Description sounds fake. However, I wouldn't be against it if that's how they played it out. Doesn't sound too long though, and not much dialogue of Peter or Gwen. Time will tell.
the description sounds very teaser trailer-y to me: minimal dialogue, majority is flashes of scenes, with a money shot at the end
guess we'll know soon enough
I hope it's not like the description, just so the trailer can surprise me
Shooting a web at a person and web zipping towards him, like in the games, just isn't possible I think unless Electro is really heavy. It would instead result in Electro being pulled towards Spidey. I can see such an attack being used on Rhino, however.
Though we did have Spidey web zipping to a different direction mid-air without losing any height or momentum in ASM, which is also defying laws of physics I think. So it might be true.
that could be the teaser, it sounds pretty basic and plausible
most the money shots probably ain't finished
speaking of that stuff, it kinda bothered me how Lizard's movement was so... non-organic, there was something not quite natural about it. For example, in this scene (skip to 2:02) he walks like an action figure
Yeah it bothered me as well. He had that typical "animated" movement, especially in that fight.
Luckily we have one human villain in Electro, and the villain that will be heavily CGI-ed (Rhino) will be in a mechanical suit, which makes that kind of animated movement actually fit in a way.
You will always have a problem selling cgi as real to the audience. Which is made worse when you're trying to sell something that's just a fantasy in the first place. I personally have a problem with the part where Spider-man crawls around the Lizard in a more spider-like fashion in that fight while he's webbing up the Lizard. It's a great idea, but it looks weird for a couple of reasons due to the cgi.
I don't trust anyone who spells Spider-Man without the hyphen.
good point. he did that move in the high school fight (slingshot kick with both legs, even though it did nothing to the lizard), but electro weighs considerably less.
webb is a fan of the slingshot it seems - happens 3-4 times in tasm1 and now possibly again in tasm2
Description Teaser trailer partially truthful but not quite accurate.
I'll post high resolution images from the iPad version of EW to Spider-Man News as soon as I can get my hands on it!
The teaser trailer description sounds like something we might get but I'm not about to take CBM as a trusted source.
Considering that Electro (being an actual physical character) requires significantly less CGI than Rhino, or even Lizard, I think a good deal could have been completed already, or at least been polished enough to show off in a trailer.
The real question is how much will they show. Or rather, how much are they willing to hold back.
Found this but I don't know how to post pictures. What would be you guys opinion if we got something like this. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?..._521668434556974_832179146_n.jpg&size=598,910
Considering that CBM's articles are entirely user generated content (meaning that any schmoe can post an article there), its completely unfair to judge CBM as a whole over the unreliable reporting of a few. I semi-regularly contribute articles on their site and I personally never report news as fact if I can't prove it as such. So again, don't let a few rotten apples make the whole bunch look bad.
In the case of this description, I wouldn't trust it 100% ONLY because a random, unproven user posted it and NOT just because its CBM.
