Absolutely. I don't think there's anything wrong with nitpicking, I just realized a long time ago that sometimes, you can be happy, or you can nitpick. I decided to chose my battles and just be happy with stuff like this.

I'm pretty sure the musical cue on the site is in fact the main theme (or one of them at least) seeing as we hear a portion of it in the beginning of the trailer. It's part of Zimmer and Pharrell's score that's for sure.

The trailer was really good, here are my thoughts:
1. The scale of this movie looks bigger than anything that we've seen before in a Spider Man movie.
2. Electro looks and sounds fantastic.
3. Garfield and Stone look to be as charming and likeable as ever.
4. I like how Harry looks and sounds so far.
5. The Rhino mech suit looks awesome, and his does have a standing form apparently.
6. When Norman says "not everyone has a happy ending," my first thought was "a certain someone has a date with a certain bridge in NYC in the near future."
7. Some of the cgi is clearly unfinished, but there's time to smooth that out, so I'm not worried.
8. Oscorp being the source of all evil in NYC is an interesting idea.
9. I'm glad that they haven't dropped the whole "mystery of Peter's parents" plotline and are expanding on it with Richard Parker's message.
10. I'm REALLY looking forward to this.

I've not read that story, but I've long ago chosen to omit it from my head canon. Because that's ****ed.

The close up shot of goblin's eye looks like it's Chris Cooper's Norman, and not Harry. The formula rejuvenated him, what was expected in a way. Or if it's Harry it aged him.
Since Feore is confirmed to be Menken the leaked plot is proved to be false! So we don't know yet who the Goblin is. Like the mystery they created within the fans.
BJ Novak has to be Otto Octoavius or Smythe.
