I'm glad he is showing us some set pics. Better than nothing. Seems like people are going to be unhappy with what Marc Webb does either way.

Better than nothing exactly. Goes the same for any other director. We didn't get any day photos for TASM1. I'm thankful for the day photos, even if some days are more entertaining than others.

edit: I still think that the round tick-looking back spider would've really complimented this costume, but at least everything else is perfect

I don't believe those rumours. Webb & Co can't be that stupid! It would be a bastardization of Green Goblin and one of the best comic book stories.

If those rumours end up being true, I'm not sure I'd even want to watch it. I'd just wait until Marvel Studios get their hands on the property.

It's just that you post here more so than anyone in this entire forum (it's hard NOT to notice). I just find it ironic that the guy who seems to dislike almost everything about Webb's Spider-Man, post in the forums dedicated to his movies 24/7 and every 10 seconds around the clock.

I post here, the Batman boards, the Misc. TV area and sometimes in the films area. I love what I love and just because I don't like a certain film that does not mean I am bound to not show up on here.

I gotta ask...was there ever some respect on the boards that people could share their views even if they're in the minority because they still love the product even if they're not a fan of what's going on at the moment? I love Spider-Man, but I can't say anything negative that I have over something that's going on? Hilarious guys, truly hilarious indeed.

You seem to think people are either pro-Webb or anti-Webb. I'm pro-Spider-Man. I didn't care for the last Spider-Man movie (I've critiqued it numerous times), but this one looks more promising. I like Andrew Garfield as Spidey, just not the way the character was written in the last flick.

No one truly understands why a pro-Spider-Man fan would ever show up on here though, Phantasm. You have to love the director and only the director to post your thoughts, lol.

electro's costume was to be expected i would have liked something influenced by the marvel nights look but i knew it would be ultimate based

can't say i knew about the possible eddie appearance but it would have made an interesting dynamic for peter but meh


kinda disappointed this, i should have known not to expect a full on goblin on glider but i will enjoy looking for the build up though i still feel we will get screwed and end up with hulk goblin

BULL ****ING ****, i dont know how many people on here know me as a poster, i know some of the older member will and most that do will tell you i have little to know love for gwen stacey as a character, i always found her boring and feel she's been over hyped by the fan base

but even i know that if you have the death of gwen stacey in a film it is by the hands of the green goblin, look i know that info isn't fully known but with the news that this film will only have one major villain and she will die then sorry but this is a change to the source that goes overboard.

Absolutely. And they signed on an extremely classy and talented actor to play Norman. I doubt they'll waste that.

Several people in this forum have argued that "Webb knows what he is doing" and that "it doesn't matter who kills Gwen so long as she dies."

But I don't even believe the rumor myself... I'm taking it with a huge pint of salt.
