WoS was awesome. It just needed polish which is a word Activision does not understand. 6 more Months and the game would have been the best Spidey game ever.

WOS could have been leagues ahead of SM2: The Game. It had the free roam + symbiote invasion. The wasted potential makes me want to cry.

I still enjoy it, but it could have certainly been so much more.

WoS' premise had many similarities to Arkham City if you think about it. Open-world game, takes place in a major American city where everything has gone to ****, comic book based, the protagonist is infected, etc. It has a bit of Infamous too, with the good/bad paths you can choose.

Damn you, Activision. That was our game right there.

It's probably my least favorite Spidey game ever. I hate almost everything about it. The awful plot, awful combat (really hated that one), awful character designs, one of the worst Venom incarnations, the lack of secrets, bonuses, costumes and easter eggs, the gameplay was too repetitive and free roam in WoS sucked.

No. Absolutely not. It wouldn't top PS1 spider-man games.

WOS like everyone said jst needed alittle more polish and had some great elements in it but just didnt hit the mark but I still play it
1. webbing someone up and throwing them to the building or what ever you'd them on
2. the web zip onto a person which was a great thing to have but it got in the way sometimes
3.damage to city or cars
4. being able to save people from explosive vehicles(wish there would've ben one for buildings
5. great cinematics, the first vulture fight was just epic imo
6. beinng able to fight on walls
these were some of the things that stook out to me but it did have its list of flaws and one of those were the va for spidey and someothers but I wont get into them

The biggest flaw with WoS was the story. I hate apocalypse stories and I hope that game devs (especially Spidey devs) stop using such a storyline. It doesn't fit well with Spidey games...

The Symbiote invasion is just one of MANY things I don't like about the game. And, well, yeah, it's just my opinion. But, just like Tim said, apocalypse stories does fit with Spider-Man games at all.

It happens all the time there is no way of getting out of it which is why I wished they had the dodge mechanic.

I have to say Black Cat was always the one i got to assist me and if I wasnt in the black I would start throwing cars just to get it in black

I didn't have one ally to depend on more than the rest
When my alignment is red, I love to get either Moon Knight or Luke Cage
And I love it when they want to exit screen to disappear, but I keep rotating the camera on them and see them turn the other way, to do that again
