Me too. Hopefully the game has some surprises for us.

I don't know about you guys but when Spidey web rushes to that building and runs up it jumping off the corner, it looked really damn impressive and better than previous web rush animations.

I don't know, the first game had its impressive webrush animations too but they were really rare. I just hope it's not just one of the better shots they added to the video but is the overall animation quality of web rush now (please no more one-handed webzips).

Yes!!! That was one of the cool moments in the trailer for me. I love how the web rush looks improved now, everything linking together more fluidly than the first game. I remember trying to pull off cool moves and it just looked clumsy lol

I noticed that and I thought it looked pretty smooth lol. Thats why am holding out hope that this game has some surprises in store for us.

Well the follow up web rush that went to Oscorp tower looked pretty good too.

I really hope someday, they are able to add enough detail to a spiderman game that you can see that web mist from when he shoots the webs. And even see the little light on his web shooters from when they reload xD. I thought the web shooters in the movie were so cool. I also hope they kept in the web shooter reloading in the new game, even though you never ran out of fluid...I still thought that was a cool detail

That light was only on the TASM 1 suit so I don't know if it would be right to have it with every suit, if they made it just for the TASM 1 suit I'd love that! But I agree with the mist effect. I also thought the reload animation was great and I hope it returns!

AFAIK there was a mist effect in TASM1 next to the blinking webshooters.

I wonder if it will be the actual clock tower battle. Is Gwen in this game at all? If she isn't...

Not confirmed but, we know Harry is in the game and in the GDC interview the Beenox guy (Thomas Wilson) said that we would fight Russian thugs who have stolen Oscorp tech. Sounds possible based on those two things. Oh and the game takes place during the events of the movie so it would be weird to not have them in it.

Beenox also said that there are unannounced villains in the game. TASM1 had unannounced villains too (Smythe, Lizard etc.). If they retell the events of the 2nd movie we will most likely see Harry as the Goblin and a Mech-Rhino in one form or the other.

If Blood Rose is in this game, that might just make this an automatic buy. Blood Rose is one of my favorite, yet seemingly obscure Spidey villains. Blood Rose was doing the dual pistol thing long before Vash and Dante.

I'd never heard of The Rose before, so I looked up some pics:

I think he'd be cool! Especially with Kingpin in the game, excellent setup for the whole father vs. son rivalry theme

The thing that makes me excited for this game is the improved swinging. Dual controls and webs that actually attach to buildings combined with fluid web rush acrobatics. That is enough for me to buy the game honestly.

So it's Wilson Fisk's fundraiser (since we can see the poster with Wilson on it in the gameplay) and his son is also there, that's interesting that we may see Blood Rose then. I think the journalist got confused and saw Fisk and thought that it had to be Kingpin. Very interesting, I've never heard of Blood Rose before so I did the same as Miles and looked him up. I hope he's in the game now and if he is props to Beenox for putting in such a lesser known character. The story already sounds leagues better than TASM 1 game.

Blood Rose is awesome. He has his father's cunning with the Punisher's trigger finger. He is almost a walking cliche, but he is just too cool not to appreciate as a character. Also, why is his right hand completely in the wrong direction? It looks like his arm is broken and dangling at his side.

The Rose and Kingpin would be BRILLIANT for TASM3. That with Copper's Goblin would be brilliant.
